I doubt the 3rd classified would be a weapon, but I still miss my TAR-21

I don't know how BF3 did not break COD's monopoly. Even on console, that game outdoes CoD in just about every way, it actually feels like they put a lot of work into it and really care about the community... instead of... you know... But yes I am really looking forward to Respawn's first game. I've been following them since their formation, they've already come a long ways, and they've already made it clear that their game WILL have dedicated servers (West and Zampella claimed Activision wouldn't allow them to do dedicated servers for COD...) You can't play with your friends in BF3. If you create a squad and then search for a game, it almost always splits you up, and you end up spending hours trying to all get onto the same team. That reason ALONE makes BF3 unplayable. Such a shame too because it is a FAR superior game to COD. I only played BF3 solo....but i didn't know the above. Wow. That being the case, that pretty much makes BF3 suck in my book. How the hell do you make a game that is based on war, teams, teamwork....and not allow friends to play? A better question to ask, rather than why didn't BF3 break CoD's monopoly...is how BF3 even sold 3 million units with the above terrible design flaw. The only thing i can figure, is that people were uninformed like me. Stick a fork in BF3..it's over LIVE Activity for week of January 16 Xbox 360 Top LIVE Titles (based on UU’s) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Call of Duty: Black Ops Skyrim FIFA 12 Battlefield 3 Halo: Reach Gears of War 3 Modern Warfare 2 Madden NFL 12 NBA 2K12 GTA IV Saints Row: The Third Forza Motorsport 3 NHL12 Assassin’s Creed Revelations Halo 3 Batman: Arkham City Call of Duty 4 Red Dead Redemption NBA 2K11

My impression is that BF3 is mainly successful on the PC platform. On XBL (not sure about PS3) it can't challenge COD.
On Elite leader board for MW3 on XBL, TDM has 11,698,983 unique players. Assume that everybody who bought a copy of MW3 played at least 1 TDM (safe assumption as MW3 is pretty much a MP only game and each MP player will play TDM at some point), this number is close to the number of copies sold on XBL.
PS3 bros, what's the number on the PS3 leader board?

PS3 bros, what's the number on the PS3 leader board? That was kind of my guess Witty. About 12 million XBox MW3's sold. I'm going to guess around 7 to 8 million PS players. Then about maybe 1 million PC players....all in all, about 21 million plus total.

BF3 is installed with spy software (EA/Origin) on your PC... There was a scandal in Germany in Nov, journalists discovered that Origin was browsing users's tax data, everything...
The only way to play on PC is to have a dedicated clean PC used only for BF3, bit I won't pay $2000 for the 2nd PC just to play BF3.

Two of them are probably still going to be new game modes. What the third one would be is anybody's guess :-) If I had to guess, I'd say they will most likely be selling us stuff that is already included on the disk but are hidden from us, like the marine camo, and a number of other things that are already there but not available. Just a guess.
