@418y
You are correct. A skilled rushing player with its Marathon, SP, UMP silencer and Ninja, will be much of a trouble for a slow setup like this.
I do have to play defensive a lot, and thats why this works for me, because thats my game style.

I can say though that my rushing class (P90 EM) can get to places faster than them in small maps, since i go with Lightweight and P90 EM running distance boost. Plus, while p90 is not a great weapon i pack 75 bullets magazine, while they have 32.

On bigger maps, many times i start with sniper and swap to something else later.

If you think of this OMA setup like something that 2 out of 6 ppl in a team have it, then it's great, because while the OMA guy is planting claymores the others are taking the front. And while the OMA guy is scanning for explosives, or looking for snipers with Thermal, teammates can be warned about them.

I am although thinking in to reserve a slot for a common build like i posted above, but not with SPAS but with m9 rafficas, for the damage and range.

Cheers

I suggest you the regular M9 akimbo (or ext mags) if you use SP. They are 2 shots kill from close range and with Steady Aim I find them even better than the G18 akimbos given that you switch them at speedlight. Since I found about M9 akimbos, I couldn't use anything else.

Rafficas also have the fast swap, and with stopping power they are one-burst kill at all ranges. My favorite secondary with SP is M93 silenced. Quick swap, stealthy, one-burst kill. Besides, my trigger finger isn't good enough for pistols :/

try this combo

Objectives man
riot shield
OMA
C4 and smoke
anything you choose for second perk- try danger close for better C4
commando/ninja, depends on you

Defense
RPD grip
OMA
Clays and stuns
SP and anything you find perferable- i use steady aim for those times when ppl get too close

OMG ITS A HARRIER
silenced SMG (i love p90, you choose)
OMA, clays, stuns
cold blooded
ninja

those are for non-SnD types
for SnD

anthing with SoH and Stopping power ninja/sitrep
or SoH and cold blooded ninja/sitrep

I love Riot/C4/Stun/OMA/DC/Commando

I don't know why you'd want smoke on it. I find stuns vitals to any riot shield class.

smoke for objectives- capping/planting. The shield gots ur back while u plant- but of course stuns if u liek

i honestly think stuns are OP- if you stuns someone you practically have the kill, especially in SnD

Because I am a stubborn individual, I believe Scrambler is the absolute best defensive perk ever created. Here is why: When you use OMA-Pr0-p1p35 with Scrambler and claymore, about every "XxXxXxXXxXXXxXX Super MAnZ MLGGriZZ Pro Tony HAwK 900 McTWIZT Kickflip 360 NoLliE toe-sIDe RoLL dARK SLiDE 900 XxXxXXXXXXxxxxX" kid in the lobby will think you are a Foxtrotting idiot for having Scrambler. Because you are smart and you are using clays as well as OMA, you will always have a spare clay. The "XxXxXxXXxXXXxXX Super MAnZ MLGGriZZ Pro Tony HAwK 900 McTWIZT Kickflip 360 NoLliE toe-sIDe RoLL dARK SLiDE 900 XxXxXXXXXXxxxxX" kids will inevitably rush to your spot and get killed by your clay. When he does, you plant another one. Because he is so "pro" and because you are so "n00b", he will skip the kill cam and immediately rush back to kill the Scrambler n00b. Little does his 12-old self know that another claymore awaits. So when he dies, you plant yet another one. At this point himslef and his army of "XxXxXxXXxXXXxXX Super MAnZ MLGGriZZ Pro Tony HAwK 900 McTWIZT Kickflip 360 NoLliE toe-sIDe RoLL dARK SLiDE 900 XxXxXXXXXXxxxxX" kids will keep coming back for more lead and more clays, an endless supply that is. I know that this is abusive of minors, but I have actually gotten high-killstreaks with this tactic.
