I threw about a dozen or more juggernauts at the enemy team before getting both Mach 5 and Surgical. That's not boosting, lol (unless you have a friend on the other team who grabs it and stands still!).

I want the Hijacker emblem, but wow that takes forever. Drop Zone packages don't count, except for Juggernauts.

FINALY finished the "Droppin Crates" challenge, 70 FFA games (42 wins) later....Jesus. (Definitely had a few excruciating losses where the 2nd place guy came back from behind while I was waiting for the airdrop.) Now I am definitely never prestige-ing. You guys were right... FFA/escort airdrop was the way to go. Care package stacking seemed like a good bet at first but it took too long to let them all go at the end and someone usually came along and killed me before I could throw them all out.

Finished all of the Finishing Moves challenges along the way, it was a fun ride. Probably won't play FFA again for a month.

Interesting tidbit: your "winstreak" does not reset if you lose in FFA, so if you just keep playing again and again, each win will add to your streak. That's the only way I knew how many games I played.

That's what I thought, but after I noticed that, I placed out of top 3, then won the next one, and the winstreak increased.

Kind of bummed actually, I liked my legitimate 14 game winstreak. I will likely never top this one.

^ I also thought it was top three only. My 46 win streak must be wrong as well. (Although I've never lost a ffa I started in or grinded a challange in so maybe not.)

I'm not sure if it's a "grinding" challenge per se (although you might be grinding your teeth to complete it), but I managed to somewhat-accidentally get the 5-mounted-machine-gun-kills in a row challenge done this week. It was on that new map that's a big park, whatever the name is.

Somehow the stars just aligned right, I guess.

I'm never going to finish that gosh darn golly gee whiz riot shield challenge, though >_<

Not that anyone besides me cares, but I just finished the Bulletproof challenge (50K bullets deflected). It is somewhat BS because you can go an entire match deflecting bullets from SMGs and ARs and not get any credit for them at all. I'm surprised I got through that last 20K bullets so fast...a tac insert around the corner from a sentry gun is your friend. Playing drop zone and checking the last DZ instead of the current one for abandoned sentries helps. What truly helps the most, though, are AH-6 overwatches under the right circumstances--I got 1K bullets from a single one as there was a wall between me and the DZ and the guy with the overwatch was just sitting in the DZ. They don't overheat and fire like 2 sentries at the same time.

Someone else can check this, but I'm pretty sure that killing yourself and one enemy counts towards the multi-kill challenge. At least it did when I went for the 50 multi-kills with RPG challenge. They didn't count for that challenge, but did for the individual weapon multi-kill challenge.

Finally completed dancing with 50,000 bullets, on March 23.
I think it took about 4-5 days - about over 100 hours - of drop zone playing time, but not counting game searching etc.

Yeah, I can not deny that's definetly waste of time.

Oh, and some facts about "registered bullets" that already known to bros:

- Seems like blocked bullets are counted with at least 5-pack, but not invidually.
- "Registered" blocked bullets makes experience score (+50...) appears on the screen

- To be registered, bullets need to hit your shield, AND their hitscan must have damage potential to you (but blocked of course)
- Seems like bullets fired from killstreaks never miss you.
- Enemy players are not that accurate. Remember, just hitting your shield is not enough.

Yes, bullets from a teammate in HC does count. I had a friend fire a 100 rd magazine and 90 of them registered. Unless you get a lot of people to boost with you which is complete BS since I did it the hard way punk, just playing DZ and finding abandoned sentries will be faster. Probably not, but you should earn it.

Pretty sure I'm down to nothing but 'grind' challenges left in this game. Titles and emblems I'm missing include:

Hijack 200 Crates
300 bullet penetration kills with Impact
50 kills inside Smoke Grenade (this doo-doo never registers)
100 Final Stand kills / 25 Final Stand paybacks (How do good players ever earn this?)
20 kills shooting Claymores
50 Claymore multikills (LOL impossible)
50 Frag multikills
50 RPG multikils
Deflect 50,000 bullets with the Riot Shield

Oh, and Counter MVP, which refuses to register. Does anyone know if it specifically doesn't work in Team Tactical? Because I killed the top player 12 times (and yes, he was on top all game) and it didn't pop up. It seems like a very, VERY finicky challenge.

The only one of those I have is RPG multikills, which I just played HC to get. I'm at 81 final stand kills, which I started just not killing people once I earn it until I actually go into FS. Claymore multikills maybe in infected?

how do you get the "friends with benefits" challenge without luck. I did it only once in MW2 and that was pure accident.

I tried sticking bomb planters, sticking point cappers, sticking sprinters, and etc.

That would be quite stupid if that was the case. Doesn't it specifically say "Kill the top player on the enemy team 10 times"? How am I supposed to get that many kills and not be on top?

I've never gotten kill top enemy player ten times, but if it hasn't changed from how it registered in MW2 then it really means "kill the player currently at the top of the enemy team 10 times in one map". I got it in MW2 getting an what what Skill Cannon quad, Stealth bomber from care package, 6 man stealth bomber which registered as the top player 10 times as the other team all had 0 still.

There are so many challenges in IW games especially that just don't require what the text says, and it doesn't help when they change them after release and don't Foxtrotting tell anyone.

- Throw smoke and kill with C4. AFK players speeds up the process.
- Shoot the claymore with a handgun when you hear the sound go off. Works best with Dead Silence/SitRep.

Nope, pretty stupid. I also don't know why they would make drop zone crates not count, I mean who cares?

They already have challenges that are just begging to be boosted for. I mean show me 100 people with the dictator challenge finished, and I'll show you (at least) 99 boosters. It's pretty annoying how lazy they are at making challenges, they really just copy and paste from previous game, change to match new attachments/killstreaks.

How do you get the smoke grenade challenge done. I'm still at 0 even though I swear i've killed people inside my smoke several times.

Also shooting claymores is easy. Shoot your own. Put one down watching a doorway and when you hear the tick or see the guy, shoot the claymore and +1 for u.

Also is anyone else pissed that they haven't made any new challenges. The literaly copy pasted them from mw2 and just added proficiency challenges. I think a cool one would be where you kill a guy with the last bullet in ur mag.

You can track it on Elite, but it's tricky. It only shows up under the nearest completion section, and only rarely. You can do it with any webkit browser though (Chrome / Safari) by editing the source code to trick the javascript. Let me know if anyone wants a detailed explanation.

Re: Counter claymore. C4 is easier because it won't self detonate, so I don't have to be quite as quick on the draw. I also don't have to literally walk right up behind someone if they have their back to me. But I'll probably try it once I'm done with Frags (which will be never, I have 14 multi kills out of 50 after countless hours of use).

Be pretty cool to be able to check the hidden challenges on elite. I actually noticed 6 fears 7 and Martyr in nearest completion so I bookmarked them just for kicks. Side note, I just noticed the Light machine gun mastery challenges don't appear to register correctly on elite. I have gold on PKP Pecheneg and it says 86% complete on unlock all the attachments so they messed that up. EDIT: It only appears to be for the PKP and M60.

Funniest one I''ve noticed is that daily/weekly challenges count toward your completed total. So for instance I have 2285/2230 challenges completed.

For those of you that want to track the hidden challenges:

1) Open any webkit browser (Safari / Chrome).
2) Go to your playercard on elite, scroll to challenges and click on any category (ex: Basic Training).
3) Right-Click on any particular challenge (ex: 'Goodbye') and hit Inspect Element.
4) Step up through the source and find <li class="ch_goodbye"> (class name will be different if you clicked a different challenge). Directly under that should be something that looks approximately like: <a class="track_toggle elite-ui-tooltip" href="ch_goodbye" ... >Track Me</a>
5) Change the href value in the a tag to 'ch_hijacker' or 'ch_nuke'.
6) Click the track button and when you view your tracked challenges, it will have tracked the one you edited it as.
