that's the question. why is ADS time longer when u walk? i don't mean the animation, i mean when the bullet hit the center from ur sight.

I don't quite get the question , but i guess there is still a delay from walk to stand still just like there is a delay from run to walk/stand still

Your question is a bit unclear... Are you asking why ADS is slower while walking as opposed to standing still? Well whatever the question, I don't have the answer. But if you ask me ADS is pretty unimportant, I use an LMG 80% of the time, and I can say that a slow-ADS is not an often reason for my death.

i try to clear up the question... when u ADS and the ADS animation is complete ur shots lands in the middle of the screen but when u walk and ADS, the shot don't land in the middle of the screen when the ADS animation is finished normally

I understand the question, and have no clue why it is. I know doing railguns in split screen with my friends shows it sometimes right when i have the crosshairs perfectly on them..

Doesnt your sight move around a bit when you move anyway? That might be the explaination?

I use this quick scope macro for sniping: #NoEnv SendMode Input
; Gibkeeg's Quick Scope script $wheelup:: ; key to quick scope, replace the f to change Key Send, {A Down} ; Left Shift for Hold Breath Send, {RButton Down} ; Right Mouse key for Scope Sleep 275 ; 240ms before shooting, tweak to your liking Send, {LButton Down} ; Left Mouse to fire weapon Sleep 50 ; 30ms before stop scope Send, {LButton Up} ; Left Mouse to stop weapon fire Send, {A Up} ; Left Shift to stop hold breath Send, {RButton Up} ; Right Mouse to stop scope
return ;;;;;; ;;; End script
The script works perfectly when standing still, but the shots do not go to the center of the cross hair when moving, in fact, they miss very often when moving.
So I do know exactly what you are talking about and I have no idea why the shots will miss.

i know what your talking about i was actually testing this out myself when i started getting pissed at how my m16 was missing half the time apparently, the bullets wont land where they should ( the bullets hit as much as half the screen away from where they should) if u aim down the sights while moving. I've tried it with slight of hand too, and they still miss half the time unless i wait a few more milliseconds after finishing the ADS animation. The only remedy i have is that you aim down your sight before you start moving, even if its a situation where u could end up dying (better off using hip fire)

Notice when you ads with a sniper rifle, the scope bounces up and down?
I believe that's what causing inaccuracy when moving while ads for all weapons (except pistol and smg).

I thought only the sniper rifles and the AK with attachments other than the ACOG idle.

Could it not be from the larger hip spread while moving? The switchover from hip fire to ADS might be a bit longer if it resets to stationary spread first or something.

Yes, but I think what he is describing is sway, not idle.

Im talking about adsBobFactor. Not adsIdleAmount/Speed.
adsBobFactor makes the player's sight bounce when moving while ads.
Whereas adsIdleAmount is the passive movement of the sight regardless of whether the player is moving or not (aka Sway).

Oh I gotcha. So moving about makes the crosshairs move off target, but the shot still lands in the center?
