Oddly enough watching a few videos, I've heard of this issue but since I haven't particularly toyed around with the gun that much, I don't feel that it has affected me just yet. This is something that really needs to get fixed though.
Anybody with KSG experience here notice this?

I'm pretty sure that's due to stance penalty, side effect of treyarch's crusade against dropshotting.

ADS delay. If you are moving, there is a 0.2 seconds delay after you are fully ADSed. In that period, your spread is the same as hipspread.
This is why you have to stop before shooting on a quickscope.

Keep up with Drift0r. He tweeted about posting a video addressing the KSG's inaccuracies.

Does the KSG have the moving ADS delay? I was wondering if they would wise up and take it off shotguns.

I disagree, with the massive spread on the 870, it'd be a ton better without a delay.

I don't think there should be a delay at all. The only guns that suffer least from it are the ones that are easiest to use; the automatics.

Drift0r posted a new video about the KSG inconsistencies and how and why it happens.

I'm pretty sure that's due to stance penalty, side effect of treyarch's crusade against dropshotting. Yeah, why do they "nerf" everything advanced players do? And yet, they buff the quickscoping... The inaccuracies of the KSG is a combination of ADS Delay and the stance penalties.

When the fu ck did they "buff" quic kscoping? More importantly, how is it the "noobs" that QS? If someone catches me off guard while sniping and I can't pull out my secondary fast enough I'm gonna pray to god I freaking hit them. I was talking back from BO1 days, forgot to mention it. Remember how at the beginning it had a prominent type of "ADS Delay"? Then slowly but surely, they removed it. And now, snipers scope up quickly with no delay. And I don't understand what you mean by "how is it the noobs that QS"

This is why quickdraw handle is very important on the KSG.

The KSG is a useless piece of garbage. Is that the reason ADS goes to hell? Because I crouch? Not even drop shot... but crouch? If you are going to lose ADS accuracy during stance changes they need to have an animation where you lose ADS for that time period. Pretty simple.

If you're not aiming where the perfectly level and stable looking red dot is pointing that needs to be reflected on screen. Not some bullshit hidden nerf for people who want to play aggressively.

It could be pretty simple, like you stay in ADS but the frame jiggles some. Anyone reasonably competent could still track their target. As it is it's half-baked nonsense.

And what pisses me off even more. In MW3 you got stance bonuses for LMGs... so it trained me to crouch as I began firing. As an added bonus flinch would take enemy shots over my head rather than well.. into it. Win/win. And then in this game you get a penalty for doing that. No coordination whatsoever between Treyarch and IW. So rarely do fixes and improvements seem to cross-pollenate their games.

QS=quickscoping you referred to dropshotting as something that advanced players do, then mentioned quickscoping in a manner that seemed like a counterexample. idk. People seem to act like snipers have no use for a quicker ADS unless they railgun Because QS is something NOOBs do. So yes it's a counter example.

Totally agree with pegasus. As it is right now, it isnt conveyed at all to the player he gets inaccurate by changing stances. I think its fine they wanted to stop dropshotting but at least give a visible representation of your inaccuracy

Consider that the games are on 2 year dev cycles. You'll likely see improvements from MW3 show up in BO3 and improvements in BO2 in MW5.

Oh yeah, its the anti-dropshotting sh it they put in.. wait what? Introduced in Black Ops Uno, whenever you changed stance your spread would expand instantly to a maximum, which would settle back to your current stance's original spread within a second or so. Eg, if you were crouched and you went to prone, your spread would expand from crouch-spread to maximum spread, then settle down to prone-spread. Since it all happens in the space of 2 or 3 seconds less than a second, most players don't notice it. At the same time though, it still makes it just that little more difficult for drop-shotters to drop-shot. As a drop-shot addict I noticed it within the first week of Black Ops' release.

its a lot faster than 2-3 seconds. closer to .5-1 Which is hours compared to ttk. It definitely inclines me to simply preADS a door rather than run through and fight the guy I know to be on the other side, which is exactly the sort of behavior other changes were made to discourage, lul

I've noticed this a few times while playing with the KSG.
Then again, I'm a terrible player, so it could have just as well been me Derping.
