(Note: this is an effort for a collaboration based map guide. All I am doing is to start the thread and include an overhead map with callouts. Hopefully other bros can chime in by posting their insights using the callouts, and organically grow this thread into a useful discussion). Hardpoint locations:

IMHO this map feels like the opposite of Raid. Raid is a map that encourages movement and flow for offensive play, while this map seems to encourage setting up fortified positions for defensive play.
Any other bros share the same impressions?

Almost every time I play on Drone, there are some bushwookie snipers c4mping (damn you autocorrect -.-) in Path, which can be really annoying in domination. Other than that, it is a decent map.

The entire piece of the map between Path through B flag to Chopper is one big deathzone. It is usually covered with 2 snipers and people guarding B at Walkway. The catwalk is also a bad place to be at.
Walkway itself is also a deathzone because the teams are usually shooting from Lab and Claw.

I do not like Drone, one of my least fav.
Stupid noob snipers occupying "holy sniping spots" so praised by sniper-wannabies: Path and Chopper, fully scoped in all the time = boring game.
Central area is a deadzone and both flanking routes – Arms and Silos – not interesting, dull and camper-friendly.
A-DOM area is ok as a battlefield on its own: if I spawn at C I run to A via Silos for some CQC.

I love drone.
I set up camp in #10.....
come at me, brah...... better be a ghost with blind eye and a scoped sniper rifle... because that's the only way you'll beat me... once

I play mostly Kill Confirmed solo have horrible aim and not a lot of patience. So when I play Drone I put a Tac Insert in Arms and patrol Orange, Lab, and enemies coming out of the A Dom spawn. This is my general strategy for maps like this (Meltdown is another) with long sight lines where I spend so much of my time getting back into the action from distant spawns since I tend to die a lot.

This is a big camp fest for me. What, I do like to go sniping on this map, and path is the spot I'll take if I can get it. That one rock you can headglitch like mad. I don't like that you can do it, but there's not many maps where sniping is fun, so I'll take advantage where I can. Of course I like to run along the edge of the map and flank Paths if I'm on the other side for some fun easy kills.
I also will set up camp with shock charges and betties in #10 or Computers. Two places where you really only have to cover one entrance. Kind of rare in this game. Sometimes those areas don't get a lot of traffic though.
The big building with the sliding doors is too annoying to deal with most of the time. And if the game is laggy then I'll bump in to the doors before they open. That annoys the shit out of me.

Lab exit at the CONTAINER side is another spot where I can get near 100% kill rate with Shock + Betty (the others being the tunnel exits on Hijacked). I am surprised by the number of flankers who have none of Flak Jacket, Engineer or Tac Mask. Seems to me that if a player plans to flank a lot, he needs to at least equip one of them (Engineer is my most favorite)
Due to the uninteresting nature of the flanking routes, this is another map that I like to do "progressive flanking" with TI.
