This is to Den himself, by any chance, do you have any older BF games? Like say BF Vietnam or BF 1942? See, I'm trying to do stuff for the Battlefield Wiki, but can't find stats of these ANYWHERE. If you don't, is there any way I can find them out for myself?

I believe there's some weapon stats here for BF2. They might have other BF games if you search around: wiki.bf2s.com/weapons

Yes, BF2s explains everything pretty well for BF2. As for 1942... it handles damage completely through a bunch of material modifiers. This PDF describes everything about the damage. Simply: 1) MaterialManagerDefine.con lists all materials and their base damage (weapons starting at 210) when they are the "attacker". Match their material Attack group with the weapon. 2) damage_system/[weapon].con has that weapon's damage multiplier against each material (against infantry 40 41 42 is head torso legs) 3) HandWeapons folder has each weapon's object.com which holds all the other important data like accuracy (the same deviation variables as explained on BF2s) and rate of fire (which is measured in shots per second). --- So you check Damage_system/MP40 and see the 217 material. Jump to MaterialManagerDefine and see that 217 does a base damage of 5. Back to MP40.con and multiply: headshot is 15 damage body is 9 damage legs are 5 damage. These may seem like small numbers, but that's because the health of soldiers is not 100. All five classes only have 30 health. Anyway, here's the necessary 1942 handweapon files for you to get the infantry stuff. www.megaupload.com/?d=3P0CRW0Iwww.sendspace.com/file/6ia9quAll of the .con files can be opened in Notepad or Wordpad or any kind of pad you may have.

Hmm, I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out the rate of fire. I'm looking inside MP40 Objects.con and there's nothing about rate of fire. I found "rounfofFire" (which is 9) and GUIIndex (which is 7) and these are the only things I don't really understand - do these indicate in any way the rate of fire? Unless it's somewhere else, but I did take a quick look ¬.¬

I'm pretty sure RoundOfFire is the rate of fire. It's measured in rounds per second rather than per minute. So 9 shots is 540 RPM. Or for the K98 bolt action, 0.37... that's a shot every 2.7 seconds.

Oh, ok, makes a lot more sense now. What does GUIIndex stand for, then?
And the damage drop, is that calculated in meters, feet, something else?

GUI is a "Global Unique Identifier" for each specific object. Used for organizing the stuff among several other files, nothing regarding the weapons' operations.
Meters probably.

Alright great! Though, when I look in Grant_gun.com, and I go to the Splash Damage section, it says it's in attgroup 130, but that's not in MaterialManagerDefine.con. Just seems to skip from attgroup 119 straight to attgroup 165.

i_dunno.png Perhaps... oh, there it is - Material 130 is right at the top of the grant_gun.con file itself.
Looks like a handful of the weapons have their own Material with them instead of in the Material Manager.

Hmm, I know this is... late... Really late... But whatever.
I can't seem to find any specific information on anything concerning the Secret Weapons of WWII expansion. I have damage statistics that I got from an alternate source, but nothing on things like reload time, recoil, vehicle health, etc.

I don't have any of the 1942 expansions, so I can't offer anything on those.
