It doesn't let me remap Dpad directions so I stopped caring.

Just looked at it and hell yes. Although a remapped D-Pad would be the cherry on top.

i like the two remapped buttons. i have the Mad Catz black ops controller and i cant use them lol. my hands are to big and it makes it uncomfortable to rest them over the buttons. but under the bumpers seems like a pretty good idea.

Thanks, I'm way excited for these beast controllers... 2 programmable buttons, tension thumbsticks, and at a cost less than microsoft controllers...

So my controller kinda died yesterday. and as I need to get a new one anyway, I also was thinking about this one. a few questions: do you guys think the FPS freeks are compatible? because I dont want to go back to a small stick and get used to it for 2 months again. If not, are they compatable with the non-tournament version? And are they buyable in europe? and for how much? Thanks in advance guys! edit: and how long is the wire? I have used wireless before, and dont really like a wire, but wireless is wireless (which is always crapier then wired)... so I understand that a wired is better... But I need 3-4 meter to reach my couch, otherwise it would be kinda wasted money

Either way, the adjustable resistance is going to be amazing, but it looks as if the FPS freeks will be able to slot on top. The tourney version is the only one worth buying, but it's currently out of stock.
I guess most people would bind A and B to the extra bumpers yeah?

Given the two extra buttons I'll most definitely be looking into different controller layouts as well.

Wy doesn't treyarch just throw in a completely customizable button layout? that would fix everything.

But the manly dive kinda cancels that prospect out, as most dont walk around corners then dropshop. Honestly, I dunno why more games don't have fully mapable controls. (Resistance does, thats a fun game :P)

It would be so much nicer to have fully customizeable layouts.

I guess they didn't want the console version to be a bouncy/droppy Quake Arena style game - we need to put all our concentration into tricky thumbstick aiming lol

There's a huge percentage that will not move and aim, except maybe in hipfire (except most panic knife anyways.)

Been playing CoD for the past two years and I've never noticed large numbers having to. I'll occasionally find that guy who can only do one or the other but none of my friends have to stop & aim... I started noticing some more people doing it in some matches today so maybe more stop to shoot than I thought lol. I never had any issues excluding the first few days of BF: MC and SW BF:2 back when I first got my xbox. -- If anyone here gets one of these controllers soon I'd love to see a review on how effective they are after a few days + playing with them. (at least enough to get used to them)

Ordered the tournament edition the day of pre-order, refreshing their stupid twitter hourly to see if the ship date has been announced. Will post when I've had a chance to review it.
I'm hoping the freek stick works with it, if it doesn't I bet the kontrol freek will release one to work with it. If they have one for basketball games, they can probably release one for the onza.

(at least enough to get used to them) Watch some of the worse players in theatre mode. You'd be suprised. You probably don't notice it because often if they enemy does it, you just end up killing them quickly. Or if they kill you, the first person killcam is less than helpful.

I'm so used to moving around and shooting that I have a hard time using Second Chance. I just scooch around instead of firing my pistol when I'm downed.
