One thing they are trying to do with this map is to make everything round looking so players can't walk close to walls. It is an interesting idea and I am curious in seeing how bros feel about that. I imagine that it would encourage an aggressive run-and-gun play style.

Played with the map a few times, my impressions:
1) the map follows the "doughnut" pattern: an indoor central building, surrounded by a circular outdoor route with rounded boundaries and half height covers.
2) IMHO it is designed as a small map with intense CQC battles. SMG & Shotty should dominate the map.
Do I like it? Yes. With my limited play time this is probably my most favorite map of Revolution.

Thus far, Grind is probably my least favorite. The emphasis seems to fall too heavily upon finding some cover to squat behind and picking off people who weren't fast enough to find their own corner to get behind.
First impressions, however, are often deceiving.

Only played grind on TDM so far and....I feel like to me a AR/LMG map with shotguns/smgs controlling the main centre. Colourful and lack of corners apart from certain areas is new.

First impressions, however, are often deceiving. You are right. The circular routes have plenty of of long line of sights from behind cover, making long range weapons like LMG quite effective.

B Dom is always a bloodbath. Many campy locations, but the flag itself feels exposed, with surrounding walls to help channel grenades onto cappers.

Played this map a couple of times last night. Basically, the circular route is filled with head-glitching spots (for bros who have not played the map, imagine the alley on overflow formed in a circle). The way you can play it is to first face one direction (say counter clockwise), find a good spot and ambush incoming enemy players, turn around and do that for the other direction, repeat...
The central building can be used for flanking, but campers can lurk there as well. The entire game can be considered as a classic struggle of flanking vs. head-glitching.
Talking about grenades, this is a great map to use them. Chuck your frag/C4/Semtex/Stun/Flash/Shock at the potential head-glitching spots before moving towards them. On the flip side, Trophy/FJ/TM are good to have.

Controlling an RC car around this map is the closet you can get to simulate Tonyhawk, with the added fun to take out enemies :-) BTW, I recently finished RC challenge and it is pretty fun to use. Functionally, it is a great tool for recon missions.

If you play with friends have them stick C4 and/or shock charges to it for great fun, just make sure to tell them when to blow up the C4.

Played this map in GW Dom a few times last weekend. It seems to me that the best strategy is to spawn trap the enemy team on the C side. The A side is much more campable/defensible so it is better to force the enemy to spawn on the other side.

Heh, the no corner campers thing was total bullshit. Not that I really expected them to make corner tactical loitering impossible on this map, but including that as part of their pitch for it was silly.
