of all the abilities if feel like active cammo is one i know the least about... which also means that im not sure how to best use it. So here's a couple of Q's headin your way.
1. What is the range on the radar scrambler? is it simply 25m or is it larger? I would like to know so i could 1. be aware of it and 2. screw with people.
2.Does a scrambled radar actually tell you anything? I seem to have imagined that i saw all the red dots converge on the center of the radar just before the cammo guy snuck up and killed me... and if it does converge for a reason what range does this happen?
also... any random tips for using active cammo? I havent had much success with it but its fun when i do.
Thanks,
W4(r)Gasm

all i can say the fastest you can move and stay reasonably hidden is to crouch walk. I just like employing the camo to use it as a radar scrambler, simply because i find the motion detector ridiculous. sometimes it's less useful to stay physically hidden than hidden on the radar, especially if you're with a bunch of teammates
it's also good to use to hide and recover shields, and to activate right before someone walks by if walking past a corner or something. slip that on, walk right up behind them, and BASH

As lame as this tactic may be, I have lots of fun sitting in a corner with an energy sword with my camo on. It's great in certain hallways, someone is walking towards you, and all of the sudden you come at them from no where. Really freaks people out.

Range? I'm not sure. They will cover more of your radar the closer you are, so from a distance you can tell the direction of the invisible guy.

i watched some replays last night and i can confirm that at the very edge of the radars detection all the dots are in the same region.

You're virtually invisible when not moving. You're pretty difficult to see when crouch-walking.
Moving regularly, though, makes you so visible and drains the bar so quickly that it's not worth using like that.

Unless you're only using it for the radar scrambling for some reason.
Seems like map scrambling could be paired with teammates holograms to confuse enemies and make it a tad harder to determine which are the holograms and which aren't.

While crouched and not moving you're entirely invisible.
The range is 25m, if you would be on their radar normally then you're scrambling them.
The more you move with it on, the more visible you become, the faster you move with it on, the faster it uses up power.
That's about all there is to it, as others have said, it's great if one person on your team is using it if you're doing effective team fire, it really screws up most players when they lose their radar in big fire fights. It's great for switching on as you run away from an opponent, couple this with crouching as you get out of sight and you'll be entirely invisible, this is pretty effective at back smacking chasers. If you get hold of a sniper while using this AA you ought to be unstoppable, couple this with knowing the respawn timers and you can hog the rifle and dominate.

The radar jammer surrounds the user of camo with the fake red dots, so it is infact, possible, by looking for an approimate center in the fake red dots to determine the location of someone using active camo.
