I don't feel like sifting though all the gameplay videos and such, but does anybody know if you will be able to YY reload cancel in blops 2?
I would be really sad if it doesn't make a comeback. I YY compulsively in every game but mw3, and it even gets me killed sometimes if somebody interrupts me in a reload and I reflex YY, only to not be able to shoot for even longer than actually finishing the reload animation.
Except it takes more effort to put in variable for add times that match up exactly to when the magazine is inserted >_>
It takes no effort at all. They already have exact times when the sounds in a reload animation play. So all they have to do is match up the reload add time with the sound of the magazine being inserted (or the weapon being rechambered when it's empty).

Yes, but I mean it takes more effort to do that than simply cutting add times completely and setting the speed to the entire animation length.
My guess would be they did it one way the 1st time and never updated it, simply because it was one of those things they didn't bother fixing for whatever reason. Lack of time being the likely culprit.
Anyway I still say that sleight of hand plus the seeming weirdness of having it be a "feature" to cancel a reload animation and still reload your weapon (why include the rest of the animation) leads me to conclude this is an unintended exploit they have simply never bothered to fix.
If they didn't want there to be any form of cancelling the rest of the reload animation, there wouldn't be such a thing as add time. The gun would be reloaded when the animation was finished. It's obviously an intended feature, or they would also have removed reload canceling by sprinting.
The reason MW3 removed YYing is so that people couldn't use a jitterbug mod, but then they went right ahead and allowed you to use rapidfire on the MK14.
