There's three torso areas now. The DSR is bolt and kills to all three. The XPR kills to middle and chest, not stomach wtf seriously? So the only thing the DSR does is kill to the stomach? I was wondering how the XPR felt so strong...

It's just as strong as the barret 50 cal. It just has lower starting ammo and a lower RoF vs IW Barret 50 cal.

I don't recall it being explained to anyone before, outside this thread, and it wasn't on the charts. People are just randomly throwing things out there without data, and I was simply asking where and how they got it. >_>

well that new hitbox is all we've really discovered. Marvel4 is the one who's been keeping track of another set of data. (notice the headshot multipliers topic) Yeah, I posted in Marvel's damage multipliers topic. I only see head, neck, arms, upper arms, upper torso and middle torso. Now a 30% reduction in range for AR's? Man, Treyarch is reeeeally fighting hard against stealth in this game. Must make a mental note to never equip a silencer on an assault rifle from now on.

haha what? In mw2 is was like a 66% reduction. MW3 was the only game that had a lower reduction than this, at 25% This. Suppressor is the best attachment even with a 66% reduc.

Oh wow, never knew this. I see it was also 66% in black ops 1. That would explain why i never used a silencer in BO1... only time I'd use a silencer in MW2 was on the UMP (no penalty trololol) and SCAR/TAR21 combined with Stopping Power. I just hate sacrificing my range. A longer effective range is far more important to me than stealth, especially in such a chaotic game
