I think it's a little bit OP with laser. I'm getting way too many lucky hipfire kills up to 25 meters.

It only one shots to like 13 meters without a headshot. If you are getting hipfire headshots with any consistency then you are mazingly lucky.

You left out a third option. Skill. I didn't see anything overpowered about that. You had good aim with the best shotgun on the smallest map. You deserved every kill you got. The only kills you got that were outside of ksg one shot range were on damaged people. And I am going to assume that a 2 min clip of a 10 min game doesn't tell the whole story. I am willing to bet there were plenty of well aimed hipfire shots that didn't hit anything and were excluded from your highlight reel.
I really dislike the distinction people make between ads aiming and hipfire. They assume that just because you didn't look down a sight no aiming was involved. Thats absolutley ass backwards. It is easier to ads accurately than it is to land well aimed hipfire with a shotgun. The precision sight and decreased sensitivity aid in accuracy. You save time by hipfiring but that is all.

The target is large enough and the spread is tight enough to reliably land 4-6 pellets per shot at that range.

I don't think you can really call any of the shotguns OP with how insane SMGs are at all ranges (especially with Lasers) and how bad the rest of the weapons are comparatively.

Yeah, full-autos are always easier to use. But you will get very very anally frustrated when encounter someone with good aim (mine is shit by PC standarts) and this shogun. It's gonna be insta death on sight every time.

I think its 80 rpm is enough to ensure its not op. I mean that pretty much cuts out the chance of taking out groups ib head to head combat If you make them follow you around the corner they all gonna die. Waiting for TBNRfrags' video with KSG, so we really can see how powerful it could be in the right hands.

The ksg with a suppressor is still hilariously effective, Though a suppressed smg will still yield more consistent results.

I am returning the game. My connection even searching for "best" is terrible and all the shotguns so far are really bad.
I don't want to keep going with this frustration. If I want to play with smgs I go mw3 and eat peoples faces. If I want to play with shotguns I go to bf3. I don't think blops 2 is the right game for me. If they do some updates and make the shotguns better and the connections reportedly get better I will buy it again.

I didn't say I was going to stop telling IW and 3ARC to buff their shotguns. I am just so satisfied with bf3 shotguns (with slugs anyway) that i really don't care to play black ops 2.

.1 inaccuracy when sighted and not moving. Shotguns also don't get high magnification scopes (Highest magnification being the rifle scope at 6x IIRC). Less bullet speed, and less damage at range. Slug shotguns are not sniper rifles. They're definitely good at close range for people who are accurate with their shots and don't get screwed over by suppression, and they're better than a sniper rifle at close range, but they don't invalidate the class, nor do they render automatics obsolete in CQC. I'm getting this information from Symthic's site, which I believe to be accurate. If you have proof to the contrary, or if this is not the point you were trying to make, please, feel free to correct me.

(Sorry for avoiding the previous argument and sorry if it was already said.) I was totally surprised that KSG is 1HK against Sentry Gun: I killed a player, who placed it, than I killed a Sentry with a single shot. Is it a bug/feature of a "fresh" Sentry, or KSG is really so powerful?

ksg is great if you have good aim and no lag and 85% of players not running around the map at extreme speeds with lightweight....
i can go about 50/50 with it rushing hard in KC...I can got 1.5 doing the same with the S12...
Like every other gun, its not OP or amazing....its balanced....this game has incredible balance...

The pump shotguns in this game are excellent compared to black ops 1 and mw3. Those point blank hitmarkers I got in mw3 with the pumps seem to be non existent with the 870 (and ksg obviously). The one hit kills I'm getting with the 870 is giving me a serious erection, especially when I get a SMG guy.
The Siaga though has been pretty hitmarkery. It feels like it does aa12 damage. I haven't used the M1216 much yet but it seems ok.
