Page 3 already? Hate getting in the dicussion late. Anyway,
1. MAPS- Make the bigger and more open like they were in mw2. Don't worry so much about stopping tactical loitering and just make maps that are just plain enjoyable. And for the love of god, lay off on the unnecessary clutter.
2. Killstreaks- I personally liked mw3's killstreak system the best. I think getting kills should still be the the important factor towards earning killstreaks. I'd like to see upgrades or perks added to individual killstreaks to spice things up a bit. My favorite killstreaks were the ones that enhanced the player, like the jugg suit and specialist package.
3. Gun balance- Try to balance the guns but don't make clones. Make LMGs and shotguns like they were in mw2, minus shotguns being secondaries. SMGs do not need to nerfed as long as the maps and not cluttered like they are in mw3/bo2. Snipers should also be fine if there are large maps.
4. Perks/attachments- Give us some perks that make it worth your while equipping. Ghost fully protecting you from radar can be fine as long as there are some strong competitors. Attachments need to be alot much powerful then they are in BO2. No "2%" bonuses please.
Thats all I got to say.

7. Improvements on anticheat. It seems like you guys are really focused on this, but please try and keep other things in mind (custom servers etc) when working on this. I think they did fantastically with the anti-cheat in BO2. In my 200+ hours of play on PC I have only seen two or three. Compared to the hackfest that was MW3 (hackers in about half of the lobbies) it's great. I suspect that dedicated servers have something to do with this.

The option to choose between a static and rotating mini-map. That's...that's really interesting. I always have trouble pointing out positions to my party and I'll say things like "building in the northwest corner," but the rotating minimap makes it hard to tell at a glance unless you've memorized the maps really well. A static mini-map would make this a lot easier.

A static mini-map would make this a lot easier. That's what I was thinking. Static is more communication/team oriented while a rotating map makes it really easy to "See red dot. Sprint towards red dot."

Make Gold Foxtrotting hard to get like COD4.
Bring back my AA12.
Damage prof. hard to get on shotguns (yes, pain in the ass, but I loved being the only one running shotguns and tearing into people with the AA12 because they were so sure their MP7 would outgun everything at close range, because no one used shotguns, because of the Damage grind. It makes you feel special that you're the only one running a shotgun in the past 10 games, even though they're not terrible with damage.).

I want something like Call of Duty: China, where I can play all classic CoD maps, in one game/title. This might not be suitable for the next new CoD title, but atleast make a CoD: China-like game that you can retire and roll older CoDs into, to keep a strong community that like the older maps and weapons.
New CoD: I have to have replenishable Betties/Claymores, via Scavenger, or I am just not interested in playing. Blops2 came dangerously close to nerfing this to far.
I really enjoy having an extremely accurate gun, even if light on damage(MW2 ACR, Blops2 M27, MW3 MP7).
Please stop remixing the same Perks, Pro Perks, Attachments, Proficiencies and releasing a new title. Please add a lot more of each.
Please please please don't turn future titles into neon-camo eye-sores. Examples: Blops2 Glamrock/Party Rock, Bacon, Graffiti, Diamond, etc
For the love of god, please stop using invisible walls to block players from climbing ontop of a 2ft pile of rubble, a desk, a barrel, etc.
On a more positive note, one of the great things about some of my favorite CoD titles and maps are that some maps have SOOooo many firing angles, many of which are hidden. It is great discovering a new line of site on a map I have played for months or years. I love maps that offer more angles, and are less like run & gun giant donuts with few angles and options.

It would be nice to have a Conquest type multiplayer mode, like Dark Messiah had, where there are 5 maps. Both teams start on the center neutral map, balanced evenly for both sides. If one team wins, they push closer towards the enemy team's base-map for the next match.
The second map played favors the defending team alot more, both with extra cover and with the spawning system. If the attacking team defeats the defending team again, the next match takes place on a third map, the defender's base-map, extremely favoring the defending team.
The attacking team that beats the defenders on the defender's base-map, win the game. Otherwise the matches shift back and forth over the 5 maps until then.

I love kill confirmed -- but would like to suggest another game mode that is even more balanced:
Search and Eliminate Attackers have unlimited respawns. Defenders only live once. After 60 seconds, defenders are highlighted on the map. After 90 seconds, they are highlighted real-time. Defenders score points for as long as they manage to stay alive.
4 rounds; 2 as attacker 2 as defender. 2 minute rounds. Kills is the tiebreaker.

And why wouldn't people boost in it? Defenders killing unlimited persons sure seem like easy points. And I mean, there is HQ already for that

You need to think for a second.
You're the attackers. For every second that passes, the defenders score points. You do not. Kill one, and there's still 5 to go -- and they continue to score points until the last one of them is dead.
If you die as the attacker, you will spawn back in your spawn, as far away from the defender base as you CAN spawn, and they will score glorious points while you're trying to get back to them. The attackers will not feel any advantage at all.
The defenders are supposed to fortify in a defensive positions, or hide. Successfully hiding defenders will be revealed as pings one minute into the game.
Successfully fleeing defenders will be revealed real-time (or by faster / double time pings) the last 30 seconds of the round -- and will be hunted by the entire enemy team, feeling like stalked prey.
===
These defined roles of attackers and defenders are lacking in Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed. The result is: The teams that camps the hardest wins.
When you split the teams into attackers and defenders, you distribute the imbalance to one team at the time. ===
Another balanced alternative is simply taking team deathmatch, naming it Assault and Defense: Assign roles as attackers and defenders. Attackers score 1 point for each kill. Defenders don't score points. Infinite respawns on both teams.
Switch sides after 5 minutes. Whoever has the most points after 10 minutes wins. Tiebreaker: First kill wins.
Result: Attackers have an incentive to put their buttox on the line to attack. Defenders have a reason to NOT put themselves in harms way to just to cause stuff to happen.

I was thinking 9v9 S&D. Three bomb sites, 6 minute rounds, 2 minute bomb countdown, defending side has a "password" they get to pick up (much like the bomb for the planting side)
only the one with the password gets to defuse the bomb.

Please try to stay on topic, that type of talk is inappropriate for this discussion. OT: -A Ping Indicator (would love #'s, but if not, bars) in the LOBBY prior to starting a game on consoles. -More basic maps. I'm not talking about the layout of the map. I am talking about the junk that fills it. Hey one or two cars and bus here or there. GREAT. 50 cars, 20 boxes readily available for heedglitching, BAD -Unranked Playlist that gives some XP and progression. Combat Training in BO2 is really not a bad concept. You get a little reward for your efforts and it is a smart way to warm up before a session. It's also a great concept for newbs. The fact they don't take advantage of it is their fault, if this was in COD:4, I would have been all over this.

I'd love to look at the challenges and not see any of the annoying ones that seem to crop up in every game. Just take the 5 minutes to think through the challenge. 50 bombs destroyed in S&D in BO2 comes to mind. It's the least common outcome of a round by far for the team on offense to actually get the bomb to detonate, and talking to anyone who has played it will let you know that.
Also prefer not to see any challenges that require the other team to use specific equipment ie: hack enemy claymore.

We need more cover around objectives. Especially in domination. The B flag needs at least a semi-decent amount of cover around it to allow a player to capture it without being immediately shot or good amounts of cover away from the flag that allow a player's teammates to cover him while he caps the flag. Good examples of this would be Bog, Strike, Crash, Karachi, or Summit. Bad examples would be Ambush, Highrise, Array, Drone, or Standoff.

AWESOME illustration of exactly what I was saying in my post too. You forgot the bushes everywhere and the random box / crate bottom lying against the wall for people to morph into.

???What??? Highrise had that fence right next to the B flag that you could use for cover when capping.

Hey Dripper, if you get any feedback could you tell us? I'm curious as to what the devs think about our suggestions.

I would like to see Specialist return as a Killstreak reward, for those that like killing enemy themselves instead of letting Air Support, etc do the killing.

People sure like to have a lot of old things. Just putting that out for perspective. If somebody put something in a game with a long development cycle sometime, they most likely put it in the game because it was a good idea. Game-makers discard too many good ideas too often just because the ideas are old. ... Not to mention that ideas are discarded after one single use ingame, too: Take this random thing and point it at that static thing and discard it and never use it again. Sit onboard this AC130 for this mission and never do that again.¨ Take this prototype sniper and shoot 1 bullet. Shoot this grenade launcher for 2 minutes, then forget it existed. Oh no, the previous game had a functional semi-automatic rifle that was popular -- we can't have anything like that again! The maps were realistic last time, let's make them futuristic mazes this time! We had a working weapon and ability system -- let's discard that and try something entirely new! ============= Variation is the spice of life, but sometimes -- I REALLY DO WANT chocolate ice-cream without chocolate chips, nuts, mint, bits of stawberry, caramel, cookie dough, M&Ms, pistachios, liqour, baileys, Dooleys, half vanilla, bits of cinnamon and apple... Heck -- if it even still contains chocolate, like it advertises, like Diablo III, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Medal of Honor 2012 and Dragon Age 2 certainly did not. Heck, sometimes -- even properly made vanilla is more than enough. Just use real vanilla instead of artificial alternatives, don't screw it up, and serve with a good wine on the side. Make bananas, waffles and sauces optional, and I may try them out if I like.

Who needs cover when riot shield Yes. Who needs protection when they have a shield that almost can protect them from one single stationary opponent who is at least 50 feet away and in the center of your sight, if you're crouching -- and he does not have a semtex, RPG or pro pipe.

If you are trying to cap a flag while having multiple ways of incoming enemy fire, you are doing it wrong. Or the maps are. Either way, having teammates to cover different entrances while having a mobile shield is incredibly useful, just don't think that because you have a shield you'll be invincible. Its a weapon of support after all.

I'll be short and concise with each of my suggestions:
- New engine. I can't emphasize this one enough. The current engine feels/looks/etc OLD! - Continued support after release. This COD has been amazing when it comes to this. - Lag compensation. Another popular issue. Whatever can be done to address this, do so in the next COD! - Attention/support for the competitive community. - Balanced maps, spawns, guns, etc. - Mouse/keyboard support for console? LOL, I know I may be dreaming with this one but I really feel it's time we allow the use of M/K on console. Disable Aim-Assist for those that choose to use M/K. It goes a long way in closing the gap between controller and M/K. - Numbered ping on console! - Dedicated servers would always be nice. - Buff the Ghost perk. Not being invisible without moving was too much of a nerf. - Remove Tac-Insert. I consider this to be in the same category as second-chance was. In my opinion, this is game-breaking in a sense. We should not be able to control something like spawns so precisely. - Buff shotguns maybe? They should be king point-blank!
I'll continue to add stuff as I think of it.
