Things Ghosts got right, in my opinion:
1. Ability to unlock high level stuff for a cost, or wait to get it for free 2. No tac inserts 3. Big maps... I know most you dominators hate them, but it's a refreshing change 4. Borrowed from BO2, but IW's own Pick 8/9/10/11/12 system 5. Gorgeous beautiful looking levels (looks so gosh darn golly gee whiz good on PS3, I can't wait to play it on the PS4) 6. If the rumors are true, a weapon DLC 7. The dynamic content... there's enough, but not too much... a nice balance 8. Further to #3, the maps are very well laid out, as there are multiple tiers for combat

To be fair, it is... with auto aimOh no a long range weapon with a slower ads and only works on half the player model beat my fully automatic weapon that kills in a fifth of a second anyway. I have to this day not heard a valid argument for it being op that doesn't boil down to "I lost even though I had the advantage and its totally the game's fault." Only reasonable complaint against quickscoping is that it really sucks to have a random on your team that insists on trying and dragging everyone down with him. Doesn't matter because auto aim.

You are seriously claiming that you are at an advantage with an SMG against a shotgun up close? That's what snipers are up close. They are just as reliable as shotguns in every game which is why they are ridiculous.

You are seriously claiming that you are at an advantage with an SMG against a shotgun up close? That's what snipers are up close. They are just as reliable as shotguns in every game which is why they are ridiculous. A shotgun with 0.4 ads speed, worthless hipfire, no leeway with spread, and only works on a portion of the player model. If an actual shotgun was made that worked that way then it would instantly be written off as absolute garbage. Hell, one of the biggest reasons bo2 shotguns were so awful was because without ads their spread could engulf the moon. The only way a sniper has a chance on you in cqc is if youre caught completely off guard or you completely miss. I think I might try the Lynx with ACOG, Chrome Lined with Stalker and Agility when ever Strikezone crops up. Should be fun at least.

Thing is, shotguns in BO2 didn't get the most discount to ADS with Quickdraw and the fact that you have to ADS to get a reasonable spread with buckshot shotguns gimps them, as you may as well use an SMG, and I don't think there was static hipfire unless it only came with Laser Sight. I would have used the R870 but it didn't have enough range for me as I didn't need the somewhat generous close range hipfire spread. So I used the KSG instead.

1. Map design 2. Changes to movement mechanics 3. Perk system 4. Keeping BS out of support package 5. NO DEATHSTREAKS!!! 6. The best guns in the game have recoil (unlike MP7 and ACR from MW3) 7. Graphics (especially on PC) 8. Sat Com replacing UAV 9. Oracle
What they got wrong:
1. Balance 2. Dynamic events (or lack thereof) 3. Majority of assault streaks still being air-based despite claims they would be mostly ground based, and the removal of the god damn assault drone/AGR... 4. Chrome Lined 5. Danger Close 6. Wire Tap 7. Spawns 8. Performance issues (PC, PS4) 9. Lies about dedicated servers 10. MTAR 11. MSBS 12. KEM Strike 13. Poinstreaks instead of Scorestreaks

7. Graphics (especially on PC) Uhm, are you playing on a laptop? If not, you'd notice that at least 20% of the high resolution 4K textures we were promised are simply missing. It doesn't bother me (as I care more about gameplay), but the graphics really aren't stellar this time around. 2. Dynamic events (or lack thereof) Personally, I am fine with this. I'm not here to play battlefield, and having people absolutely destroy the levels. A door here, a wall or two there is more than enough when a game is only lasting 5-10 minutes. 3. Majority of assault streaks still being air-based despite claims they would be mostly ground based, and the removal of the god gosh darn golly gee whiz assault drone/AGR... I'm actually really happy with the assault streaks they way they are - this way some asshole can't come along with a 12 point ground jammer and ruin my entire set of kill streaks. Yes - R2D2 was fun to play with, but he wasn't exactly effective IMO. What? An OHK to the knees sends you crying? Try again. No. This is a *very* good thing for the game. No more super weak explosives makes it really easy to take out someone tactical loitering in a corner like on stormfront. Just lob a canister bomb or a Kastet round in there, and you can be sure they'll die, and that's awesome, If you could replenish explosives at all, maybe I'd see it differently. But seeing as the max you can possibly get is 8 total explosives (2x primary nades, 6 rounds from the MK32 which is garbage), that's not even close to OP. It costs 3 points, and is only really OP in FFA. As the game evolves, we'll see people switch from the SAT COM spam into higher streaks most likely. Meh, every CoD has garbage spawns on release. Give it 2-3 months and I'd bet it gets significantly better, considering the size of the maps. 8. Performance issues (PC, PS4) Definitely an issue, but again, one that will be fixed with time. 9. Lies about dedicated servers Was it a lie? I've only run into one host migration (PC), in my 30+ hours of game time. These guns aren't OP. They're good, but not OP. They both are pretty bad at long range (MTAR because recoil, MSBS because low damage), and TBH the burst fire guns really do need a 2HK to be effective (go back to CoD4 and try the M16 w/o SP, and you'll see what I mean), and I find the MTAR's low ROF gets me killed more often than not in CQC. What exactly is wrong with it? I've only ever seen them happen on Strikezone (though I was once within 3 kills of one myself), and they don't really matter that much. You complain about not having enough dynamic map elements, and then complain about the thing that changes the map the most? SMH. 13. Poinstreaks instead of Scorestreaks Personally I hated the black ops 2 style. It made it really hard to judge by that little bar how many kills I needed to get to earn my next streak, and not to mention how broken the streaks were in TDM. 5 kills for a UAV was simply too much. I'll take IW's method any day of the week, for specialist alone.

What they got wrong: 4. Chrome LinedI don't see the reason against it. It's not the most productive attachment to a sniper rifle and we've had perks and attachments that increase the 'power' of ARs, SMGs and LMGs in the past so why single out Chrome Lined?

lmbo i thought maus was just joking now i don't know what to think Go play Blops2 Ground War on 360 and tell me that your opinion on snipers is that they are legitimate weapons. If you're implying that being strapped with a sniper rifle in BO2 GW would suck big time, I agree. 1) I can't really play GW in BO2 because it takes too long to get into a game and my time is valuable to me. 2) BO2 GW is a bad playlist and a last resort for stacked parties that are just too big. 3) Most of the maps in BO2 are already sniper-unfriendly. 4) railgunners are overwhelming bad players who get bad scores because it's a high-risk tech. 5) c0cks did i miss anything, or

I'm gonna go ahead and say that they actually went wrong with the maps. I actually like MW3 maps much better. iW went too extreme with the large mapss, which make Ground War an absolute requirement to be playable in most of them unless you are playing objectives like dom. Too bad 360, PS3, and Wii U versions don't even have Ground War.
In turn, the large maps nerf the smg class, which is rarely worth using in this game. ARs and sniper rifles dominate. At least MW3 had a good mix of small, medium, and large maps.
The unlock system in create a class is absolutely garbage IMO. Everything costs squad points to use and they are freaking expensive. And because guns and gun attachments are expensive(takes several games to unlock one), the system also makes you just focus and horde on a few weapons throughout an entire prestige. Also having more than one character character means nothing if I can't even switch characters mid-game. Not like I need to choose between up to 60 custom class loadouts in the middle of the game, but I don't see the point of buying characters and constantly switching them in between games where I have like 10-15 seconds time before the next match starts. Not to mention, prestiging is terrible in this game as a result. Prestiging means jack squat.

ARs and sniper rifles dominate. No. No they don't. If you need evidence, then the MTAR-X and Vector would like to have a word with you.
