blogs.battlefield.com/2014/07/bfh-will-launch-2015/Well whadda you know. They might actually start learning. At least all the improvements from the CTE client (which are pretty good from what ive heard) will get some time to be implemented and they get time to diversify the game from a gameplay perspective. Who knows, this game might actually be decent! What a shocker indeed

I'm surprised EA is letting them. Hopefully Hardline succeeds, so they'll adopt the same attitude towards BF5, BC3, 2143, or whatever is next in line.

I'm pretty sure EA is perfectly okay with it. Dragon Age is delayed too

Good, the beta was atrocious for the most part. I'm not really expecting too much but it sounds like they're listening to player feedback so hopefully they make some meaningful revisions to the game.

It'd be nice to believe that they're doing this so they don't release another unfinished product, but Mousey is right. The real reason they are doing this is due to the release schedule of other games. Even a shitty movie can break the box office if it's released at the right time (a weekend when there is absolutely no other good movies available).

I think it's less the crowded release schedule, more that its preorder numbers were on pace for Medal of Honor: Warfighter. They gave away BF3 with PS+, and they're currently giving away BF4 with EA Access. Let's be honest, everyone knows whatever they do over the extra 6 months to the gameplay isn't going to take it from bombing to being a huge financial success. Given that they're already experimenting with seeing if they can make money by giving Battlefield away, and as a company they're already heavily invested in F2P, it seems like there's a pretty good chance that they make the game F2P. It seems like the best way to maximize the revenue.

After the BETA, I would have never bought Hardline. It's a terrible BF4 expansion. I wouldn't play those game modes if they were free. Pass.com

It's not racist if it's racist against Caucasians.
