Oh yeah, this. Here is it. What every CoD player needs in his CoD playbook. Trickshots. And not only trick shots in this video, but a full on explanation and terminology, all done in a wonderful British accent giving it that air of authenticity.
YOU need what is in the above video. Imagine your CoD game once it can include all of these new moves.....zoom load, mid air zoom load, primary to secondary switch, gliding, psych stall, gliding with claw, switch and tac knife flip, switch and tac knife mid air (gives a cleaner shot), switch to glide to silent shot, switch and wrist twist, over the shoulder, wrist twist, mid air wrist twist, hip fire swag
....i wish i was joking with this stuff, but unfortunately, it is all to real.

Seriously, there needs to be a grassroots return to traditional trick shotting. All games post MW2 have nerfed the best displays of pure skill in the game, and this needs to stop now. We should start a petition.

we can collectively be the old people hating on the younger guys for their skateboarding trickshotting
OR
we can embrace something that branches call of duty out further. CoD (to me anyways) is all about building that muscle memory and I love anything new that can be trained.
still hoping on CoD venturing into the brain training market (i.e. brain training like lumosity) or maybe some weird play on synesthesia e.g. weapons where you have to train yourself an entirely new skill to use - scope that can see through walls and players are highlighted BUT the video feed is sent as audio to the character (like the work being done @ seeingwithsound.com)

I wonder, did MW2 start all of this?

My favorite parts are when the matches kept ending an you can see all the one sided kills of him trying over and over and over to do this stupid stuff with his friends, and he just left that in. ;3

I wonder, did MW2 start all of this? I don't think it started it, but it sure as hell pushed it through the door. MW2 was the perfect storm of everything good and bad with a touch of controversy and YouTube as a legitimate platform to jump off of. MW2 streamlined everything, made it about fast movements fast TTK, fast level up, doing bad? Deathstreaks! Doing good? Killstreaks! In the middle? Look at the pretty titles and ooh Grenade Launchers go Big Boom! What's that, IW doesn't exist and no support? Oh look Machinima! Then again I'm basing my opinion on things I've heard from people who really came to fame because of it and their experience with it.

Sometimes I want to delete Youtube lol. What is the point in trickshots anyway ? Going 1-43 but having a sick trickshot ? Having fun online I suppose? It disappeared from latter series and CoD:MP is dying now ...

COD:MP isn't dying; it's just different.
Some people just refuse to admit that their gaming style since MW1 isn't as effective as it once was. Some people just refuse to admit that their desired gaming style on their desired gaming platform has changed and wasn't what it was, in terms of popularity. Some people just hate that COD has done things that have had broad appeal and don't like that they've "sold out".
But the biggest one: some people $hit on COD for being boring and unimaginative... yet $hit on COD for changing things and not keeping things the same.

To be fair I think those are two different groups of people. The CoD community is kind of like a classroom. You have the smart ones (optimistic about the next game, give it a fair chance) and then the droolies who scream and shout for everything they want without actually thinking about it (basically, the assholes we've just described). We have a lot of idiots who would say shit like that.

But the biggest one: some people $hit on COD for being boring and unimaginative... yet $hit on COD for changing things and not keeping things the same. To be fair I think those are two different groups of people. Nope... it's mainly the people who have convinced themselves over and over and over X 50,000,000 that a certain element/feature/thing in COD needs to be changed and they have the perfect, Utopian, panacea solution that will make everything better and stop puppies and kittens from being killed by aids and cancer. Then, when a different solution is created to solve that problem/issue, it is considered worthless by those people because the solution isn't exactly what they wanted/dreamed up. As an example (just thinking off the top of my head) the perk/weapon/kill-streak unlock system comes to mind; many thought it was problematic and had solutions to it (some reasonable, some just plain bat$hit crazy) and when IW came out with their squad point system, nope... those same players viewed IWs system as $hit and garbage. Never mind that it was, at least to me and in the scope of COD games, it was a fantastic, innovative, and welcome solution. But nope... it either wasn't good enough for some, it copied other games so it wasn't original enough for others... or quite honestly: it wasn't exactly what their idea was, so it wasn't acceptable. Other examples, again off the top of my head, certain game types on certain consoles, certain weapons classes.... It's the old saying: be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it; people want the changes to the game and then complain about those changes. But as I've said before: you can't $hit on the devs for not being willing to change or alter things... and then from the same face, $hit on the devs for not being true to the original spirit of the game.

Why would those need to be mututally exclusive? If I hate sushi that doesnt mean im a hypocrite if I also dont like fried shrimp. Wanting something to be better and then being unhappy if something, in their mind, then changes for the worse is not unreasonable in the slightest. My point that I tried to get across is: 1. That there are people who have convinced themselves that there is something "wrong" or "a problem" that COD related, 2. That there is one and only one solution to that "problem" and it is theirs, and 3. That any other variation or alteration of that solution is unacceptable and makes the "problem" "worse" While I agree that your statement isn't unreasonable, those who choose to be narrow minded by thinking that one's solution is the only solution, and being so inflexible as to not accept other ways of solving the problem, is. Furthermore, sometimes the problem is only applicable to a small minority of people when there bigger problems that affect more people.

Some people just refuse to admit that their gaming style since MW1 isn't as effective as it once was. ... probably it is too dark outside so I do not get it ... IF someone played MW1 in 2007/8 his/her playstyle is much more effective now, in 2014 ... learning curve says hello ... anyway, there were more things to learn then, there were more exotic but consistent ways to kill.
