Just tried using the EM1 on console (XB1) again - it's still unusable poop there, at least for my playstyle. I just can't get over the movement speed... And the TTK just feels aweful. I mean, us inferior console users don't get the luxury of using a mouse to aim, so I'm probably missing 99% of my laserbeam shots, but I feel like I have to hold it on my target for 5-6 seconds before they die, a feeling I don't get with any other weapon.
EDIT: My daily supply drop challenge was to get 30 kills with heavy weapons in capture the flag. Took me 2 hours to do. I just suck without maximum movement speed. Ugh

Ugh As far as traditional weapons are concerned, the Pytaek and Ameli are not bad with stocks and all my experience is from pre-patch. ...they are horrendous until you unlock stock, however.

I use my ameli 720 rpm version Spacer [Professional] (Fire Rate +1, Range +1, Handling -1, Accuracy -1) with grip, quickdraw and thermal. Fast aiming and bullets speed, easy targeting, no muzzle flash and good range. With lmgs is better stay prone to reduce recoil.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but there appears to be no stance bonus for LMGs in this game.
...if there is, it's not as potent as in previous games.

There's definitely one for Sniper Rifles. It's very noticeable on the Atlas 20mm. I think the LMGs have one too, but you're right it's not as good as before.

It's also noticeable on the Lynx, but no one uses that.
On LMGs, my impression is that you're better off staying mobile rather than chasing whatever recoil reduction prone offers.

It's also noticeable on the Lynx, but no one uses that. Which is why I didn't bother mentioning it
