Is the dual magazine in AW like the one in BO1 (That it reloads faster every other reload) or like the fast mag from BO2 (That it Always reloads ~30% faster)?

Never used it, but the description says every other reload, so I'm going to go with that.
...I mean, it's not like the developers would lie to us, right?

If you do a fast reload while on the first mag of a double, do you lose the ammo from both?

To answer OP - it's like BO1, only ever other reload is sped up. If you do a fast reload while on the first mag of a double, do you lose the ammo from both? Nope, can't fast-reload the first mag. Both single tap and double tap reload results in a mag-flip at regular speed (which is usually slower than a normal drop-mag fast reload). IMO dual mags is one of the most worthless wastes of a point in this game. I understand that the BO2 fast mag idea of "flip mag" and "drop mag" taking the same exact time doesn't make much sense, but this wouldn't even be a problem if Treyarch and SHG weren't so bent on trying to change all weapon-related perks into attachments. It may work well with laser sight and quickdraw handle, but changing sleight of hand into an attachment just doesn't work as well, I don't know what the big problem is with SoH.

That may be the only gun it's worth using it on, given that the gun's strength depends on a full magazine, however it might still be better just to run scavenger and fast-reload every time instead. Not sure what the dual mag reload time is for KF5, but the time savings between regular and fast reload on the KF5 is massive. Fast reload is 0.83s I think, compared to regular which is around 1.7s iirc

It's only every other reload, like in BO1.

If you do a fast reload while on the first mag of a double, do you lose the ammo from both? Lol good point. No, it's only one mag lost And BTW you mean second mag, not first.

If you do a fast reload while on the first mag of a double, do you lose the ammo from both? You only lose the ammo currently in the rifle, so alternating between magflip and mag drop is a valid strategy if you're using scavenger.
