Some of you people are pretty smart. Is anyone here even considering the shittiest of shit choices, Hillary vs Jeb? I hope not. I'd love to see a Rand Paul vs Bernie Sanders competition. That way the people might actually win, not corporations and not the war machine. Nobody is going to make everyone happy, but we need someone who might actually be looking out for the people, instead of just big business. If you want to learn something, watch some of the YT links below. I implore you to skip the Kardashians today and watch these instead.

I doubt anyone here watches the Kardashians. Cardassians, maybe, but not Kardashians.

I've only looked over Bush and Clinton's platform thusfar. I tend to side more with Clinton, but I have a feeling many people would vote for her on the sole purpose of getting a female president into office. That's not the worst thing in the world considering how Bush's approach to several things seem somewhat dated.

Do not vote for Hillary. Anyone else, ANYONE else will be a one hundred thousand times better vote than Hillary.

That's why I'm hoping Bernie can win the primary. Otherwise it'll be another year wasting a vote on some third party candidate who will get maybe 1% of the votes in the general.

I'm not considering a vote for either family. This feeling is probably not shared by enough Americans, but I'm personally sick of having this country being run by not just the Bush and Clinton families, but by any politician that twists that screw on the American people to enrich themselves. Jeb is so ashamed by his surname, he omitted it from his Jeb! 2016 signage. Even if you don't agree with any of the ideas Obama brought to the table, at least he was different and didn't trip over his words every third sentence like Bush Jr. did. Unfortunately, the piece of legislation Obama worked so hard on and spent most of his political capital one, the Affordable Healthcare Act, is not that affordable. Some people pay more for the same or less level of care prior to this historic piece of legislation became law; I've read these stories from middle class Americans with modest means.
Bernie Sanders was a proponent of the single payer system, and if we wanted true reform, that's probably what should have been done. I would also love to see an election showdown between Sanders, and Paul. It would be a breath of fresh air, though I think Sanders would win in spectacular fashion. Anyone that isn't deep-throating corporate cock would be nice. The American people care more about the economic situation at home more than anything, including what we're doing abroad, no matter how much it undermines our security at home.

Hm. I'm triyng to give everyone a fair chance. I really am.
It's... a little odd how every promise Clinton makes sounds not unlike a Gisnep Princess. She gives out stories, sends many appeals to emotion; you'd think the Presidential Campaign Speech would have her entire campaign in detail in the speech somewhere. I think MagnumDB's comment put it better than I can:
"Still no mention on where she stands on the TPP. And this speech was full of fluff without actual detailed info on how she'll do anything. "I'll reward businesses..." How so? How much? What are the rewards? "I will rewrite the tax code so it rewards hard work..." Rewrite how? What will the language say? What are these rewards? How will it be paid for? "I will give new incentives..." What are the incentives? "Providing tax relief, cutting red tape..." Details, please? "Developing renewable power..." Ok, how? What will it cost? Where will you get the money? "Will connect workers to their jobs..." How? Explain! C'mon! "Let's staff our primary schools with teachers who are second to none..." How will you do that? The info on this says "Clinton's speech was not a detailed rollout of the policies that she'll advance over the course of the campaign." Yeah, isn't that obvious! She's been campaigning for months, on her listening tour - she still doesn't have anything detailed to say about ANY of this? Bernie Sanders is able to go into details in every one of his speeches, and he takes questions from the people. None of that here.
I was hoping to be proven wrong about Hillary when she finally spoke after campaigning for months. But no, this move makes me trust her even less - I didn't think that was even possible. I'm even more secure in my position of voting for Bernie Sanders."
Not a good start for Hillary, but this is far from over.
If it makes you feel any better I'm Canadian.

Introducing the Non-Aggression Principle, the most sensible cornerstone of all societal organization. Insofar as ownership is a construct observed in every natural state of human affairs, and every other conceivable substitute creates absurdity, it exists as a natural law. Insofar as being the first to attain some thing is the mode of creating ownership, it is known that, therefore, people own themselves because they pass all potentiality of their body into actuality before any other party can possibly do so. That is, humans are and act, thus retain themselves, therefore own themselves, and every other conceivable alternative would lead to absurdity. So too they own things, if they attain and retain them. This implies any violation of the natural law of ownership is subsequently unjust.
So, to the above discussions, conservatives are little better than liberals because they both support an aggressor state which violates this principle constantly. All Americans get to debate in mainstream politics is if they're going to rob the top bracket income 36% or 38%. How about 0% robbing, thanks very much? Just because thugs are well-dressed... There's little hope for any real change towards justice. Count me out of this race.

I noticed that all the smart republicans are staying silent about the recent Supreme Court decision. The smart ones know that based on the general support for gay marriage conservative candidates best STFU about it during the primaries if they want a better chance of winning the general.

Aw hell, don't go for the robot president; especially if he's anything like HAL 9000. We'll all be robot sex slaves by 2035, or that situation in the matrix where everyone in stuck perpetually in leather clothing and green tint.

I've been thinking this over for the past few hours, and realized the robot uprising in the matrix within The Matrix wasn't so bad. Everyone is Hugo Weaving; what's not to like? Smith 2016. Unlike any other president Hugo Weaving eradicated a dictatorship in the UK, summoned a council to get the ring into Mount Doom, was a Nazi Commander that did extreme crazy science for the Nazis, and even turned into the Decepticon leader at one point.

Ah, election time. It’s a day when millions head to the polls to flip a switch for a vanishingly small chance to force their preferences, via violence, upon everyone else.

voat.co/v/funny/comments/317634Zapp Branigan or Donald Trump quotes. General rule of thumb is usage of the word "loser" is Trump and anything that is actually clever is Zapp.

"Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest -and you all know it! Please don't feel so stupid or insecure,it's not your fault" Donald Trump is a gem.

In other news, drift0r is attempting to publicly shame his own father for having different political views. Gearing up for that 2020 election when his Twitter followers can vote for the first time.

Assuming Trump isn't an idiot; it would make sense for him to run for president only to say outrageous things. It's free publicity if nothing else. What does he have to lose when the internet will gladly spread his shenanigans for him? *sigh*... yeah, yeah. We get it. Drift0r's dad is a bit set back if he seriously believes these things, moving on. For anyone who isn't on Twitter, here's what Drift0r posted: I guess we're all just stalling for time until we actually see the candidates come out and start talking.

The most important vote: Fire, woodchipper, or chainsaw? Neither. You want hydrofluoric acid; it'll remove all traces of evidence.
