I'm ALL for the new weapons, as extravagant as they may be. But release them to everyone. Having something locked behind RNG in a FPS (non-MMO) game is absolutely ridiculous. It just shouldn't happen. Yep. 100% right. Probably mostly because the douchebags at Treyarch couldn't actually come up with any ideas, so it just became all about copying Destiny. It's even more retarded because the game will be irrelevant in November when the next one comes out.

Also, it adds up to even being worse when you also include the DLC. There's what? Four DLC drops in this game? As an Xbone player, I haven't even since any DLC drops yet. And we are what? In the FOURTH month now? Come on. What a ripoff for $50 (or whatever the cost is) By the time I even get to the 3rd DLC, it's going to be mid summer, and then the final DLC hitting in September. No one is going to be playing this game by then. Why even drop any maps at that point?
They have been doing this for years, the timing on this stuff. It's just ridiculous.

You know what is kinda funny? There are YouTubers out there spending crazy money for COD Points and have not been lucky to get the weapons. LOL Suckers. $100, $200, $300 in COD Points?! That's crazy stupid. For the same amount of money I could go buy a real gun (used), a new conceal carry holster (I prefer inside the wasteband) and a box of hydra shoks. Or I could take The Wife for a movie and dinner date. Or a oil and filter change with tire rotation and lunch while I wait. How about a new PS4 game? Or.. so many other things really. I just find it funny.

It's less funny when you realize they're the ones to blame for the state of the franchise (and gaming in general).

So apparently the crossbows are pretty strong. Haven't played MP since January though. It was a good run.

M2 "Garand" has 8 round clip, 2-3 shot kill, fires faster than the Sheiva but can not be manually reloaded. Thanks Obama. Lol wut? This is for MP?

Yep. They nerfed it though so it supposedly no longer fires faster than the Sheiva.

Yep. They nerfed it though so it supposedly no longer fires faster than the Sheiva. What's the point if it only had eight rounds? Do they even test their shit out first?

I got the MX Garand already. Haha. It is decent on biggish maps like redwood. You have to get used to firing all 8 bullets though as you cannot manually reload. So I end up killing one guy with say 4 bullets and then just fire another 4 bullets at nothing so I can have a full clip for my next engagement. It appears to fire faster than the Sheiva though.

Supply drops gained with money is worse value compared to the lottery. Even hearthstone packs have more value.

LOL, me get one of the new weapons, hilarious. Bmac, you card, you.
No, I just found them on the ground a few times, picked them up, and got all my killstreaks before C4ing myself out of anger.

I just find it funny. We had a party of nine going last night, . . .one of the guys (name protected) said he recently just spent $300 in the past day or so, on the above stuff. I asked him if I misheard him, did he really say "$300?". Yes. He said that amount was correct. He said he got carried away and said fvck it, spending till he got what he wanted. In the good old days, you got a weapon or two in the DLC drops. Now? It seems like the DLC drops are pushed back even further, and any weapons are stealth added as RNG, with the option to give Activision your credit card if you want them sooner. Nice deal there. Way to go Activision.

Wow.
Well, to each his own, people have the right to spend his/her money as they see fit. But we still have the right to laugh at them.

What they're doing is shameful, and it's only a matter of time before the government takes steps to protect consumers and regulate this.

If I want to spend cash on rigged games of chance for stupid prizes that I will never use then I'm going to take my kids to the fucking county fair. At least I get a hot dog and a beer and maybe I can huck a baseball at a radar gun or something.

Picked up an MX Garand a couple of times off the ground today. It was ok, the reload mechanic while annoying in games like the original COD is a complete disaster in a game like BO3 though. Probably didn't help that I didn't get to pick the attachments. Ran into a guy with the akimbo crossbow things and all I can say is wtf. That seemed totally broken. When I get better at supply drops I'll try them out properly.

Way to go Activision. Said what, good old days? BO2 was the first with the Peacekeeper. That was only three years ago, lol. In fact, that game started the whole customization craze with those packs. That ain't no good old days. I miss the REAL good old days when they included enough guns on-disc (IW has been good at that, thank God) to begin with and we didn't get any as DLC. I remember when DLC didn't ruin everybody's matchmaking experience.

PS3 was getting the last collections for a couple of the past games like a month before the next game came out. Suckish feeling, ain't it?
Also, they've been releasing steadily faster year after year I believe. When the CoD DLC era first started on MW2, that first one came out in March or April on Xbox. May on the other platforms. Just the first one. Out of only two.

I'm probably out on the map packs. The black market weapons are just too insulting. I had planned on getting it, and I might still be swayed by peer pressure but I'd rather invest time and money into something else.

I just got the one DLC instead of the season pass. Season pass only saves $10 anyway, and that's assuming I do buy all 4. If I skip the last one I'll actually save $5... *shrug* I'm pretty down on these new weapons too, but I'm still playing for now so the new maps are nice to have.
