Then just like that his video is removed. Really, people like this never change.
Luckily, the internet always knows. Hell, have some Reddit while you're at it. What a maroon

Behold, I foretell the future! When will my down syndrome become an up syndrome? When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry, and the mountains blow in the wind like leaves.

Some sort of legal action?

Some sort of legal action? One of the "known" e-sports lawyers claims to have had as many as 75 people contact him looking to sue Tmartn. Supposedly, they are those who lost to him in these gambling videos. Whether or not the FTC does anything is another story. Both of these asshats are fairly large names, and would seem to be the types the FTC would want to make an example of.

Apparently it looks like the lawyers he hired are now answering all questions. He has officially shut up on the matter. Most likely on the advice of those lawyers, who have to be groaning out loud at all the prior stuff he put up online. All going to courts now. I would have to guess dozens of people will be suing him, if not more. His insurance (if he even has any) will most likely not be covering these claims.
Also looks like Valve is getting battered with lawsuits too. I have a kid who uses steam and their products. Maybe I should look into jumping on the bandwagon. I would love to help stick a few daggers into this company, and help contribute to taking them out of business.
I like this guy's review of the apology video. Even more so when he refers to this douche as the "Human Ken Doll"

Last time I edited his video I was promised 1 square meter of birch bark to slap my tail on Tmartn's videos. I was only given 4 square feet last time, and thus I put in 4ft^2 worth of effort into editing.

They have a fairly rock solid team of lawyers who are around specifically to cover their ass and protect them from stuff like this. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the use of these gambling sites is somehow a violation of steam's terms of service contract. They obviously do not intend for people to gamble with these skins and are likely unaware of or unable to stop people doing so. Moreover, I would be very surprised if they're making any profit at all, even indirectly, off of people gambling skins. This lawsuit isn't going anywhere without a serious miscarriage of justice. If you're looking for someone to sue, try CSGOLotto.

For what it's worth, though, I imagine this would have Valve revise their stance on betting sites.

I'm really impressed by the stupidity displayed here. The deception and malice aren't surprising. But the stupidity is really something else. They were operating a gambling site of dubious legality that supposedly allowed minors to participate. They were professional YouTubers that were somehow unaware of disclosure laws, and when exposed they incriminated themselves. Did they not have a lawyer? Do they not even know a lawyer? Did they not float any of these ideas past anyone with any common sense before doing them? How dumb do you have to be to incriminate yourself like that?

Ans it wasn't just a failure to disclose their ownership--these Foxtroters pretended that they had never heard of the site before, and fabricated some sort of potential sponsor/player relationship with the website.

It's easy to develop a God complex taking advantage of hapless teenagers when you forget just how low that fruit hangs. Unfortunately for him, he's going to learn the cost of crossing people smart enough to know better.

I got on here today to post about this, you beat me to it. www.ign.com/articles/2016/07/12/warner-bros-hit-with-ruling-for-buying-positive-youtube-coverageGaming YouTubers in general are pretty much the new sleazy car salesman of the 2010's. Seriously, maybe even worse on every level. Sleaze, lying, underhanded payments, disclosure issues, and preying on children as the capper. They are all pretty much sleaze. I can't think of anyone who is probably free of the above bullshit. It would make my year if every one of them gaming douches lost their jobs and incomes.

In a parallel scandal with a similar skin gambling site named CSGODiamonds a streamer/former pro CS:S player M0e has had an undisclosed partnership with them. Reports state that someone from the skins gambling website fed M0e roll results before they actually happened. The funny part is that this all began when M0e tried to cash out his winnings on the site, failed to do so, then exposed both parties because of it.
Thorin gets a solid hour in on the matter with his findings- it's a pretty good listen to if anyone's interested.

Valve is safe, and I don't blame them for this debacle. This will fall squarely on Tmartn and perhaps the guy from the Syndicate as well, as it should. The steam platform is simply a tool used in the assistance of the crime. If Value didn't profit off it, they can't/won't be viewed as willing enablers.

Doesn't Valve take a % when you sell something? If so they profit whenever someone turns in their "chips".

The funny part is that the bot account sometimes just keeps the items- so after you're done gambling you have to gamble again to win it all.
