Any PSN bro's jumping on this?
At first, it had my curiousity.
Now, it has my interest.
Imma gonna download the beta, but I'm probably not going to splash the $$$ if no one here isn't there

I'm dirt shit terrible, but the combat feel is very satisfying. Still not sure if I'm in though. Tutorial is really bad and is just so barebones.

I downloaded it, came home, and my 2nd floor toilet overflowed into my NOPEthen into my basement
I've been cleaning for 6 hours almost straight. I'll try to try it soon though
Edit why the fuck is ki-t-ch-en corrected to NOPE? Dafuck?

It's interesting; I'm having fun but I'm just mashing buttons. The tutorial indeed leaves a lot to be desired. But it looks very aesthetically pleasing
I dunno if it's worth an $80 purchase so far though

It is a forbidden word. None shall speak of the place of prepared foods, lest it awaken the treacherous ones.

Decided against a day one purchase. I can see why the game will be popular, and can respect the incredibly high skill ceiling, it just isn't for me. Anyone who enjoys fighting games will eat this up though.

Anyone who enjoys fighting games will eat this up though. Wholeheartedly agree with everything. Maybe if there was a campaign that I tried I could have gotten better at, but going from the tutorial straight to multiplayer and getting shitstomped was no way for them to make me buy the game. But I 'm sure others will hellalove this game. I just still can't get over why NOPE is banned; learning this made me enjoy the beta for this and this alone.

Soulslike combat with more of a PvP focus... if that's what it is... sounds pretty cool to me. I actually have come to enjoy Darksouls including the PvP, though it's generally pretty hard to get a good balanced fight on my current playthrough because I'm very over leveled for my progression putting me up against enemies with far better gear.
I just can't get into For Honor, though. The combat looks interesting in a lot of ways, but it has ludicrous amounts of flashy hud stuff and glowing indicators and things. It's massively distracting and sometimes you can't even make out the player models and environment for all the flashy weird crap all over the screen. I can't do it.
Oh well it probably has a vertical learning curve anyway. At least with Souls it doesn't matter that I suck because I can just keep playing the single player and enjoy the challenging bosses and fascinating lore at my own pace.

It's fun combat.. I did enjoy my beta time.
I'm just not very good at it. Sure, gimme a dumb as crap AI to beat the hellout of... sure. But against skilled players who have been playing for a while, I got stomped hahahahahahahhard.
But that was that; there are Bolivian drug cartels that need to be taken out so North American can be saved from the horrors of the Devil's Dancing Dust
