Nothing.... there's probably not even a court Anywho.... they moved the reset so there's not much to say right now other than here is what the expected changes are going to happen today: - Armor Ornaments (for Vanguard/Crucible/Trials/Iron Banner/Factions/Raid Lair) - Rare mods dismantle into gunsmith materials + chance of mod components - Banshee sells legendary mods for mod components + legendary shards (selection rotates daily) - Rahool sells legendary engrams for legendary shards - Daily challenges and strikes reward an increased number of tokens - Cayde's chests will always reward at minimum some tokens of the destination - Resources nodes will always drop resources (100% drop rate) - Increased values of resources (+50% for common, +250% for rare) - Reputation required per reward engram will increase for destination factions (+37%) and gunsmith (+50%) - Leviathan raid tokens can be redeemed without needing to complete the raid once - Remaining raid keys will be wiped from the inventory on weekly reset - Daily and weekly resets time change: 9am PST / 12pm EST / 5pm GMT (UK) / 6pm CET(Europe) - 4K HDR support on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X If you want more, click here... It's extremely underwhelming, very reminiscent of The Dark Below to me, except it's 3 years after TDB and people are sick and tired of this kind of shit. There is so much potential in something like the Infinite Forest, but all they've managed to do with it is make a glorified playable loading screen that solely exists to slow you down on your way to getting where you actually need to go to complete your mission. It's sad, more than anything, knowing how great some of this stuff could be vs how poorly it's actually been done. People should (and clearly do) expect better from a AAA studio with 700+ employees.

I think Bungie, down the road, will have to release a free DLC to please people.
Not to mention that now, with the PL increase and certain other things, people who didn't pay for the DLC can't do stuff they could last week (Prestige raid, for example)

I have The Stag and I will never use it. Most of the exotics are infusion fodder for me. I did get Gemini Jester for my Hunter though. The only exotics that I don't think will come back are probably the ones that are the best to increase the skill gap between players like Twilight Garrison and Bones of Eao. As for Reddit, I guess many of them are PC players. And some previous content that was available to people is now gone if they don't have the DLC, like the prestige version of the Leviathan raid. PC players will definitely be more cheesed off with this than console players because there will be alternatives out there that don't do this, like World of Warcraft. The DLC itself has always been fairly pricely. It was the same with Rise of Iron and for a bit more you could buy The Watcher 3.

But PC players will find this tactic more alarming than console players because they had one stab at Iron Banner instead of two, fewer chances at Trials etc because of their release date and, to top it off, established games like World of Warcraft don't tell players to GTFO if they don't buy the DLC. But then given endgame rewards like ships and sparrows have been moved from the raid to Eververse, it isn't really surprising.

As per the reddit thread I went ahead and got a refund for my Xbox version. I thought maybe at some point I would hop back on it just to clean up some achievements and as it's no longer possible, fuck it. They've seriously got to get their shit together. Buy the DLC or else we're taking stuff away from you. What the fuck kind of an idea is that? I'm still on the PC version as I pre-ordered the derp-a-derp edition with season pass. So you know, hopefully at some point they actually turn the game around.

I bought the DLC, did it come out this week? Do I need to start playing? So if I am reading the above correctly, those people who didn't buy the DLC....they game is pretty much over for them. They can't progress anymore? If so, that's pretty shitty. Came out Tuesday, and it's up to you. It's going to take like 2 weeks to hit max power again (which doesn't really matter anyway), so play whenever you want. There's not a whole lot to do so you'd catch up pretty quick. Is the game over for them? They can still play, so no, not technically. Realistically though, yeah, there's not really anything they can do to progress any further. It's always been that way with Destiny, not that I'm endorsing that model, but this should've been expected.

Clearly, Bungie is good at phrasing, but not good at timing. the only positive I can come up with is that, a lot of people got canned for the debacle that's going on and they're hiring new ones to not $hit the bed as brown
