Download Warframe. It’s free. Deeper than the deepest thing ever. It’s a spec nerds paradise. So addictive but incredibly steep learning curve. But once you’re there, Trading, modding, grinding, resource gathering a blowing everything to pieces with a flourish you’ll think ‘why Bungie, WHY!’ isn't it p2w though? Besides, I got HZD just sitting here, doing nothing, and I paid for it

Absolutely not p2w. You can pay to ease it but you get 100 ‘plat’ free from psn. That’s enough to buy additional slots for weapons and a 2nd frame. Everything else can be earned. You probably will end up spending maybe 10 or so to feed the monkey but you really don’t need to. Once you start earning drops you can sell those for in game currency on the built in trading mechanism.

I started watching it, but ultimately, the youtuber was polishing Warframe's knob far too hard for my taste.... no playing with the balls; straight to the puking and gagging. Plus his voice was too annoying

The major negative is the flow can seem broken as each mission sees you returning to your ship at each ending. Some of them can be over pretty quickly too. That said. If you’re a loot driven pve fan. What’s the downside of just looking at it?

So.... like Destiny does all the time, going to orbit? That said. If you’re a loot driven pve fan. What’s the downside of just looking at it? True.... true

Otherwise, yeah, you guys pretty much nailed my thoughts. I do really like the raid lair, but to each their own. I'll probably end up grinding out all the new prophecy weapons because the completionist in me won't let me not grind them all out, but outside of that there's still no long-term incentive to keep playing, and likely won't be for at least another month since Bungie is on vacation until January. The Dawning might be a nice diversion, but I'm sure it'll all be Eververse-RNG focused so there's not really much to actively work toward there.

I mean.... maybe I'll like raid layers. I haven't given it a chance. But then again, I don't see much of a reason to do so

OH!!!!! Sorry all: Three of Coins is bugged! Or maybe it isn't and it's just RNG... or maybe it is which wouldn't be surprising... Bungie's looking into it... blah blah blah
Because you know... maybe these should have been tested upon release.

I imagine Skill Up's had enough of Bungie's nonsense. I heard he was in a 'podcast' with a streamer who's married to a Bungie developer and it didn't really go too well. Not sure what the point of her presence was. It's like having the president of Syria being tried for crimes against humanity and have his wife in court as a character witness. Besides, I have heard Warframe is a good game though I don't play it. It's made by Digital Extremes who helped Epic make some of the Unreal Tournament games way back.

I need to give Warframe a whirl...been meaning to since the new expansion. And I can really recommend the Division right now. There is a ton of things to do and the game is dirt cheap these days.

Is it better to wait for The Division 2 than to try and catchup because the Division's been out for a while, no? 2. Is it still just a bunch of bullet spongy badguys? The last thing I want to do is fight MORE Rockets McDickface's

It will take more than a few hits to bring down enemies, like any loot shooter.

Besides, I got HZD just sitting here, doing nothing, and I paid for it What are you waiting for??? 1. It was an impulse buy that I still will play... just not now because 2. There's a funny thing happened when I started play Destiny more and more.... I started to like playing with other people. It wasn't like CoD where it was squeekers and I played on mute 99% of the time. I generally like multiplayer games. And when I bought HZD, I forgot that it wasn't multiplayer. I still will play it

I'm not talking about "more than a few hits" The major negative thing that I heard about The Division, and one of the biggest reasons why I never got it (aside from the begining problems that the game had) was the bullet spongyness of the bosses. Is that still the case? That being said, if it goes on sale... I could be strongly persuaded to play. Warframe.... I'm not a big ninja guy. Especially a cyberninja guy

The Division is awesome. I loved it. I stopped when everyone drifted away as it's not much fun alone. Not for me anyway.

Especially a cyberninja guy Yes, bosses and high level enemies are spongy AF, like in any loot based game. Ghost Recon it's not. The theorycrafting around builds in high level play is on a par with Diablo, rather than Destiny.
