Get it. This one will totally shake up the boots up the butt classic cod paradigm. There is one thing really weird thing tho, being released early October. Like, wow.

Good christ... are people too stupid to know that 4 in Roman numerals is IV and not IIII?

Bullshit. I have been all through the former Roman empire, Esatern and Western. I have lived in Europe for a year. Never once have I seen IIII. In the school system that I attended for that year, I was taught IV. This "both is correct" is bullshit. Total bullshit. 4 in roman numerals is IV not IIII. The romans were lazy/effecient and didn't wnat to do IIII because that would mean that they couldn't bugger each other/slaves as much, so they did IV. CoD either 1) didn't want people to get confused so they dumbed it down... or 2) They didn't want people calling it "Call of Duty: Eye-Vee (or Ivy)"

We live in a world that has lost 2 seconds of attention span since BO1 came out. The maps had to consense in size to keep the playerbase engaged, stimulated and more open to opening the vulva in their pocket and spending some cash on digital goods with no value outside the game.

Treyarch is using IIII instead of IV because they are bold, courageous visionaries who are not afraid of taking big risks. This is truly a watershed moment in Call of Duty franchise history and I, for one, will never forget where I was when I learned about this incredible numerical innovation. Kudos to you, Treyarch. This franchise needed an injection of fresh ideas and this, my friends, is it.

Classic nostalgic boots up the butt with the IIII being II and II together like a Black Ops 2 part 2. Easter eggs yall. The emblem splits like book ends, and your mind after reading this.

But then I ended up remembering kowloon, stadium, wmd, and others... I can't remember which ones really stood out since very few were remotely bad. I think a lot of people disliked kowloon and wmd though.

They'll set it in a time period after BOII but before BOIII. No jetpacks. nuketown4, M8A4, VMP predecessor, Ballista successor, co-op campaign, and the glorious black matter camo.
And for the first time ever, a battle royale game mode.

I thought cod already had battle royale, wait, that was PubG first person view mode. My bad.

A battle royale game mode would be cool. I'm into that these days.
CoD would mess it up though. That's almost a given, isn't it? Rather than have 100 people, they'll have like 16 and just squeeze everyone on a Nuketown map. Probably also screw it by giving conflicting goals too, so half the people aren't playing to win, but instead are doing other things. That's the CoD way. Most of it's players are losers who need crap like that, in order to do well.

CoD has been brilliant at taking design trends that are hot at the time of development and delivering them after their moment has passed.
