Every old COD game I've loaded up on backwards compatibility yielded endless lobbies full of cheats. And they didn't up the resolution on any of these releases as far as I know, so no thanks. As much as I loved MW2, I don't think you can really go back.

I tried MW3 and it was fun, I didn't see any cheaters. Maybe I didn't play long enough.

As much as I loved MW2, I don't think you can really go back. MW2 was a great game. But then it devolved into what you said....a complete trainwreck of hacks and other exploits. That's kind of how i remember that game...elevation glitches, out of the map sh*t, Chopper Gunner cheat, etc...and yeah, that doesn't even include the ridiculous of the Skill Cannon. CoD has one of the shittiest player bases in gaming history.

Glitches and cheats were inherent with all of these older games, can't blame the community too much. Now if the Javo-Glitch is back, then I might be interested. Yeah it was cheap and not legit, but damn it was way too much fun to hear people rage and even funnier to see them running away from you in the game.
