Note that max ammo is only the reserve, it doesn't count the already loaded ammo.

Logically you would think the 50ms firetime after shot 3 is just ignored It wouldn't be logical to ignore it. Otherwise a burst delay of 0 would allow you to fire faster than a fully automatic weapon with the same fire time.

I'm assuming they don't stack an extra firetime on top of the burst delay but that's not something I actually know Technically, there isn't an extra fire time. The burst delay doesn't replace the last fire time of a burst, it just... delays the next burst.

What I said: the resolution looks worse on console. That's only my personal observation obviously, but everything looks like it's a lower res but upscaled. Everything is grainier. Textures, player models, etc. I noticed some weapon textures in Black Ops have a lower resolution (like the handguns), but most of them are 1024x1024, just like in Modern Warfare 2. Also, both games take up around 12 GB on PC. Maybe it's a bit different on console, but I doubt it's as significant as you make it seem. The only difference I found is that Black Ops runs at a slightly lower resolution on PS3. There was the sense with Modern Warfare 2 that Infinity Ward went for platform parity in terms of the visuals, even if it meant a frame-rate hit on the PlayStation 3 game. However, with Treyarch's last COD title, World at War, there was evidence that the developer wasn't afraid to make some fairly basic, mostly innocuous changes to the visuals in order to close the performance gap.

But my assumption/guess is that is why Treyarch's games all look worse. Like they're at a lower resolution. There's something they're not doing that IW is. What exactly looks worse? What's that "something"? We should stick to the facts here.

I want an IW Battle Royale, since Treyarch's old IW engine (IW3? 4? I forget, but they use an older one than Infinity Ward, all of which are variants of the iD engine) is so dated. Which dovetails to....why do they exclude Treyarch from the other devs who they are sharing their engine. Is there some special reason Treyarch seems compelled to trot out the same old iD engine-variant for years? Their titles consistently look like as s on console compared to IW's, because of their bad optimization. I don't know if that's because they refuse to optimize their games to the extent IW does, or because they use an older IW engine than Infinity Ward, or both, but I don't understand why these devs don't share more. (Or why Activision doesn't make them) That's very misleading and wrong. First of all, they don't even name their engine. We're not trying to market our engine. We don't even, you know, name it. It doesn't even have a name. It's just called IW6 because it's the sixth engine we made, so we just call it IW6. The same is true for Treyarch. For example, Black Ops is T5. They don't use an "older" engine than Infinity Ward, everything is based on IW3 (Modern Warfare). Also, they do share some of their work. IW3 -> IW4 -> IW5 -> IW6 -> IW7 IW3 -> T4 -> T5 -> T6 -> T7 -> T8

For one, movement speed was faster, which screwed up the spawns. Movement speed was not changed. The spawns were screwed up, but they improved them later.
