Forgive me if I've overlooked something obvious in my google searches for this information.
What is the base health in touch football in BC2?
You are my bro, bro.

50. ...I think.
The only number I've found is "MinHealth". A simple test could confirm it.

2 Hit kill at point blank range with the M1911, that gives you speculated range of 34.1-68.1, hope that helps

I don't think HC is a health modifier, it was said to be a damage modifier on the bullet damage end.

The same was said for Call of Duty, and that wasn't true.
Bullet damage versus Quad Bikes is the same regardless of setting, so it isn't as simple as (or is not at all) boosted bullet damage. Though shooting a quad is all I can do by myself.
Nobody I play with is playing right now so I can't test it, but somebody do this...
1) See if the XM8 Assault kills a soldier in three body shots at point blank range. 2) see if the XM8 Assault needs more than three shots at about 15 meters (at least ten meters to be outside the 8m FalloffStart).
That'll get the closest damage average around 50 (with 50.1 and just under 50 at 15m).

just did what den suggested
1) at total point blank range (virtually touching each other) in an empty HC server killed the target with three body hits.
2) 15 meters measured via the distance display by the tracer dart by an engineer (he was the one getting shot) stuck on the player with the xm8. tried multiple times and never were three body hits enough to kill the engineer.
right, but how does that tell us weather bullet damage is modified or hitpoints set to 50? or am i just not seeing the obvious?^^
€dit: almost forgot: all done with pc version.

Half health or double bullet damage, the result is the same.
There is one possible discrepancy that can be tested to prove which is true.
Three shots at 15m with the XM8 to get the player as close to zero health as possible. Drop a MedKit on him. If he returns to full health in just over five seconds, then he has 50 health. If it takes ten seconds, then bullet damage is increased.

I can safely say that HC health is above 50. The SV is 2SK once its out of its drop off range.

i would guess that too. i tested it with a couple of friends, and without bodyarmor the sv was a one hit kill even at extreme distances.
