We ran into our first confirmed hacker last night. He was running around with a T88 LMG with the trigger permanently held down, firing from the hip. He only paused to reload or find more ammo, from beginning to end of the games. He never stopped firing once he'd pressed the trigger, even if nobody was around, until his ammo drum was dry. He'd just blaze fire into the side of a building or mountain or something while running toward the enemy lines. He was in our game for two rounds, going 98-11 and 91-6. This seemed to be as rare a sight to everyone as it was to us, as he often had a small group of teammates following him around to throw ammo/health at him and watch the spectacle. The other team seemed more amused and surprised than angry, and both games really just turned into a spectacle revolving around the one player.
Almost every single server has PunkBuster disabled, and the server filter option for it doesn't work, showing you games without PB even if you have it selected.
Is this the future of BFBC2 as well? Has anyone else seen any?

Unless it was H.C. mode, then I wouldn't be surprised about the extremely high K/D ratio.
Why I don't call him a hacker are the following:
1) He was running around with a T88 LMG with the trigger permanently held down, firing from the hip. --- You can do that!
2) He only paused to reload or find more ammo --- Nothing wrong here!
3) He'd just blaze fire into the side of a building or mountain or something while running toward the enemy lines. --- In other words, he flanked the enemy!

I lol'd. Unless you weren't being sarcastic. In which case I also lol'd. I suppose I should clarify. There's no doubt he was hacking. No, it wasn't HC mode. The 98-11 game featured a second-place player with kills in the 30s, and despite his absurd kills, he clearly had no idea how to actually play the game. He walked across open roads blazing at tree lines. He fired entire drums into the sides of enemy tanks. He'd stop and reload in the middle of enemy lines.

I'm almost positive I've seen kids with modded controllers with the VSS.

No, it just has an uncapped ROF iirc.
(Or a high one. I know I can fire it about as fast as an automatic rifle)

You run out of ammo in no time. If you have good assaults in your squad its great gun
