This is at point blank w/ magnum ammo, so it deals 125 damage, which is translated to 18 damage vs the blackhawk. 6 shots.

where do you get the 18 from?

Umm, I shot the helicopter then went in it and it had 82 health left? I just added that the M95 does 125 damage w/ magnum ammo so someone good at math can make a proportion even though I can, but am too lazy lulz.

oh, yeah, right...forgot it shows the vehicle health in softcore, sorry, i play hc only xD
well so the first guess would be that helicopters take 1/7th of the damage of the m82. i.e. from max distance without magnum we would have something around 11 damage, i.e. 9-10 hits to down it.
though that is just a guess, since we don't know how exactly the material behaves. i suspect it's not that simple.

And most Blawk pilots will fly with armor on...so add a few more shots?

test different ranges and ammo's. Also I tested the atv a few days ago. It also does 18%, but with no magnum ammo.

Maybe the M95 has a set amount of damage done to all non-tank vehicles?
The ATV has 250 health while the Blackhawk has double that...

because all of the vehicles have a percentage in the HUD, it would make sense that it would do that 18% to all non armoured vehicles.
I think it does 100% to a UAV. Ive never not one shot a UAV with the .50.

Different armored vehicles have different materials that have their own damage modifiers to the M95 bullet type. It's fully possible the M95 damages choppers and armored cars differently, for instance.

M95 kills UAV in one shot. Regardless of range or damage modifiers. (maybe 2 if UAV has V ARMOR)

I tested the M95 with magnum ammo on Isla Innocentes. There doesn't seem to be a dropoff in damage at range. I takes 7 shots from point blank and still 7 shots shooting from the defender spawn into the attacker spawn. Hitting a helicopter from different angles also affects the damage. The HMG bullet actually penetrates and does a 2nd hit to get a total of 18% damage. Hitting the tail, wheels, or door of a blackhawk without the bullet path intersecting anything else only takes off 7-8% health instead of 18. If you look carefully, you can see the bullet impact the ground behind the helicopter. If you hit the body of the helicopter at a steep angle, you also get the reduced damage. If you hit the same place but angle it so that the bullet travels into the rest of the blackhawk instead of into the air, you get the full damage. Hitting multiple places that get 7% damage like the horizontal stabilizer on the tail and the wheel with a single bullet does 14% damage instead of 18% so the internal body of the helicopter might take more damage than the extremities. It's an interesting mechanic.
The stationary HMGs do 4% multiple penetration damage from point blank. 1-2% damage for single penetration (tail, wheels, etc.). It was impossible to test long range HMG damage by myself as abandoned vehicles deteriorate and blow up when nobody is within 50 meters of them.
