You can cancel the reload animation of guns in this game in the same way you could in CoD. Watch your active ammo numbers (as opposed to your total remaining bullets count) and switch guns rapidly as the full clip size appears.
For example, reloading the G3, hit reload, wait for the number to change to 20, then hit 1-2 to change to your pistol and instantly back to your G3. Now you have a fully loaded magazine with ~0.5 seconds saved on the animation.
Seems kind of useless, except you can cut enormous amounts of time off certain weapon reloads, most noticeably the rocket launchers and LMGs. All of the LMG's can see 1-2 seconds saved on the reload animation, and the Carl Gustav literally has the time-to-fire cut in half by cancelling the animation. It looks like you lose net time with the CG because you unlimber the gun from the side, but you can zoom despite the animation, and fire instantly.

That's why I stuck "Add" in on the chart.

the intervention in call of duty's empty reload had a retarded cancel time. Sometimes it was nice to watch the whole thing when you get 3-5 kills with that mag though.
I find this cancel time really useful with the m95, especially when you need to engage targets fast.
