You could pull some insane shots noobtubing in MW2 but it seems the projectile puffs out at a certain distance in BC2, so what is that distance? I'm glad it does (unless I'm insane and the rounds just detonate against the skybox or something) because there were some maps in MW2 where you could with a little foreknowledge hit every single target of interest with ease and you can shoot grenades faster by dancing on an ammo box than reloading One Man Army ever could.

The 40mm Grenade has an eight second lifespan (and the smoke version six seconds). If it doesn't hit anything by then, it vanishes. No using it like a mortar; it won't make it back down in time.

Thanks for the info.
Do tank rounds have a similar lifespan? I'd assume yes because I've never been pinned in a base by a tank 3 bases away.

I believe the boat has a similar thing as you have to be pretty close to hitting anything with the grenade launcher (or whatever it launches), correct?

The stationary grenade machinegun's grenades and the tank's main cannon have a life of five seconds.

the tank's cannon travels way too fast for it to matter though.
By the way, Den, what is the grenade launcher's range to arm? Its probably about a 2-3 meters but id like to make sure.

It takes 0.2 seconds to arm. If "50 speed" is 50 meters per second, then ten meters to arm.
