The MG36 comes with a RDS sort of like the F2000 or Tar - 21 MARS from MW2.
Putting RDS on it has no effect and putting on ACOG only increases its magnification.

You better get ready to pay for it with more spread and 1 more hit t kill at close range compared to the XM8.
That and the gun is just ugly.

plus the red dot has no peripheral, in bfbc1, it had the unique ability to not have shitty irons, but now its just useless...

I think the best thing about it is that you get it for free and the dot is tiny, really good for long range shots.

strange thing about the dot though: it does not seem to appear in hc. you just get the zoom through the telescope without any kind of indicator where the center is^^

I might be wrong, but the RDS might reduce ADS time.

I might be wrong, but the RDS might reduce ADS time. I think you are correct. At least on the other LMGs, using the red dot decreases the ADS time. I would assume that would hold true for the MG36. Otherwise there would literally be no reason to use the red dot.

You are right, the irons on the M60 are horrible. Possibly the only semblance of balance in that gun...

IMO all the red dot sights should look like the red dot on the m36 instead of that crappy huge one.
