The less accurate a weapon is the more important the STK get, hence by reducin g the M60 damage but at the same making all LMGs less accurate the developers failed their first goal of balancing the M60.

Assuming you got 20% before and 15% accuracy past patch
M60 went from 20 to 34 shots fired for a kill the PKM went from 30 to 40 shots fired for a kill
Without the accuracy change, the difference between the two weapons would be 25 to 30 shots fired to kill (PKM taking 5 more shots), with the accuracy change its 33 vs 40 shots (the PKM taking 6 more).

i think i just about get what he means. i guess he even has a point, until you think that 20% accuracy with the M60 is not the same as 20% accuracy with the PKM

yes, the accuracies for the LMGs are not the same but the direction of the change is (less accuracy) and with less accuracy, the STK matter more

In order of least Precision to most Precision per shot, based on R7 patch: SAW .065 (more spread on the next shot without interruption) M60 .0545 MG3 .05 T88 .0385 PKM .0385 MG36 .03 XM8 .03
Order of slowest to fastest possible Time To Kill at close range: MG3 0.54 MG36 0.48 XM8 0.48 T88 0.4615 PKM 0.4615 SAW 0.45 M60 0.436
Order of slowest to fastest possible Time To Kill at minimum damage range: MG3 0.6 SAW 0.6 MG36 0.56 XM8 0.56 T88 0.5538 PKM 0.5538 M60 0.545
The M60 is the second most inaccurate LMG now. The M60 is still the fastest killer. BUT the difference in spray and the difference in killing speed is only hundredths or thousandths of a measurement different than most of the other weapons. That tiny advantage is insignificant compared to its critically low rate of fire compared to the rest of the weapons. With a single miss, the M60 falls behind.

They do not seem to be from the chart. Is it spray - recovery? We do get data our personal accuracy each round (even tough it varies on the server and conditions, the overall accuracy values should be statistically sound due to large sample size). There the outcome is just not what the numbers say about accuracy and TTK, because you do not get 100% accuracy.

Precision Per Shot Spread Recovery Per Second * Fire Time = X Spread Added Per Shot - X = Spread on next shot
One player can get 99% accuracy and another player can get 1% accuracy. Just because the player misses, it does not change the statistics of the weapon. Time to Kill and Precision Per Shot do not need to assume perfect accuracy - just add another shot.

I agree that the statistics do not change, but their impact.
precision per shot would be a pretty sweet addition to the charts *hint hint*
