What factors are there on hipfire "jumpyness".... ROF probably?
Cuz I think the Uzi's hipfire jumps around more than the spectre's...
Also, drop time applies to when you put the gun away for anything that isn't a pistol right?
So lower drop time equals faster flash bang tosses and such... ya?

Yes, HipViewKick is a recoil stat (I believe), although I don't know if the numbers are the same as ADS recoil. If you stand still and try to hipfire a weapon, you will be able to notice the recoil, especially with Kiparis dual wield or something like that.
For the second part, I doubt it. For example, when you knife someone with an LMG or a sniper, you don't 'put away' your gun before you knife them. Same with grenade tosses. However, Raise/Drop time does effect things like mantle (climbing stuff) and switching to any holdable weapon.
When knifing, you don't put away your gun before the slash/stab, but you do have to bring your gun back up before you can knife again. As a result, the ASP is probably the best pistol to go knife only with (although the Ballistic Knife is better).
Might be interesting to see some of the raise/drop times of the Ballistic Knife and equipment.

These are are the things related to "hip" that aren't 0 on most guns:
hipIdleAmount\ hipIdleSpeed\ hipSpreadStandMin\ hipSpreadDuckedMin\ hipSpreadProneMin\ hipSpreadMax\ hipSpreadDuckedMax\ hipSpreadProneMax\ hipSpreadMoveAdd\ hipSpreadDecayRate\ hipSpreadDuckedDecay\ hipSpreadProneDecay\ hipGunKickPitchMin\ hipGunKickPitchMax\ hipGunKickYawMin\ hipGunKickYawMax hipGunKickAccel\ hipGunKickSpeedMax\ hipGunKickSpeedDecay\ hipGunKickStaticDecay\ hipViewKickPitchMin\ hipViewKickPitchMax\ hipViewKickYawMin\ hipViewKickYawMax\ hipViewKickCenterSpeed\ I don't know what they all mean, but I can guess from the name...

...K... cool... yea it kinda seems like the spectre and uzi hipfire are the same as their ADS recoil...
I feel like the UZI needs a buff... It's almost worth using I think... or maybe it already is... hm

There is a quick drop time that is historically the same for all guns that is used for some stuff. There is a knife recovery time that in COD4 was shorter for all the pistols and MP5 compared to the rest of the guns.
There a bunch of drop and raise times that are used for a bunch of different things.
There are viewkick and gunkick stats for hip fire, but Den has said that they don't matter that much compared to spread. Also ROF matters for hipfiring somewhat.

Though both aiming modes have their own variables, the Hip ViewKick and CenterSpeed are identical to the ADS ViewKick and CenterSpeed.
'Cept for the Dragunov, where the ADS Center is 500 while the Hip is 1000.

Sorry to ask, but does putting ACOG on a weapon affect hipfire then? Or does the center speed only change for the ADS?

Though both aiming modes have their own variables, the Hip ViewKick and CenterSpeed are identical to the ADS ViewKick and CenterSpeed. 'Cept for the Dragunov, where the ADS Center is 500 while the Hip is 1000. That's good to know... hipfire and ads kicks are identical. Now while you are hipfiring your reticule spread increases correct? In other words aside from hipviewkick you also have to account for the reticule spread to be larger causing the landing point of the bullets to be much more randomized than just hip view kick?
