I have been experimenting with the patrol boat's grenade launchers and it seems that at least on Isla Innocentes, it's possible to hit the first rush point's B and the second rush point's A by dialing in the range from a 'safe' distance away (IE, behind the sniper hill or just in front of the bridge).
(Anything to make Isla Innocentes end faster is welcome in my book.)
Is it possible to hit the second rush point's A, or the third rush point's A and B, with the patrol boat's grenade launcher? While it sounds like a useless tactic, I found that with Warhead it's possible to take down both of these points within 30 seconds once you get the range correct - and due to the amount of MCOM damage / team attack order credits / kills you gain in the process, worth a lot of points too.
I haven't had a chance to experiment with this on the other maps that feature patrol boats, but the sheer amount of rage this causes on Isla makes me think it's certainly worth trying.

Sort of. That's how I progress past the first two maps when my team is filled with "recons"... Otherwise known as "useless snipers."
It's possible to get both MCOMs at both RUSH points. It takes some work to get A at the first point, and it's difficult to get A at the second point without getting your nards blown to bits. I've never seen anyone even attempt to shoot the 3rd set of MCOMs with a PBR, mostly because the boats don't spawn at that point so you'd have to be riding one when the second set went down, AND not have it blown up at any point.
Good luck with that once the chopper is flying around.

In my experience, the second M-Com Alpha was destroyed with Destruction 2.0 on many occasion due to PBR bombarding the house.

a blackhawk minigun is the easiest way to take down A on the 2nd stage of Isle Inno. I can do it before the map changes over so that the attackers can rush. defense hates it when I do that.
the PBR is also a good choice but you're a much easier target to take out.

Good shout: blackhawk guns are building-collapsing machines
On a related note, one of the little handful of achievements I don't have is the 20 demolition 2.0 kills. I never actively go for them, and have picked up a whopping 12 incidental ones in over 160 hrs of play. What equipment/method do you chaps find most efficacious for destruction 2.0 kills? My first thought was C4, and whilst that is getting me a fairly healthy amount of C4 kills, by and large by the time I can run around the downstairs of a building there's no one left upstairs. I am guessing tank and blackhawk? 40mm/engirockets aren't terrible but take appoximately 8 weeks to bring something down, and one of those little elves on my team would probably end up landing the finishing blow anyway

Find some cover close to land, remove any obstructing buildings, and shell any structures by the objective. While effective, you'll definitely get some baddies hunting for revenge, so you'll have to be ready.
