What is the range of the minguns ?
Like how far max damage last in distance (meters) before gradually drops to minimum and beyond.
20-14.3 (base damage against infantry)
Maybe Den can answer this tread !?

There is no range; it's 16.7 damage over infinite distance.

M134 seems to have a 0.15 modifier against tanks and 0.75 against jeeps. The damage is 16.7 because the values in the individual map folders (of maps containing a blackhawk) in the "Package" folder overwrite the original values (very messy way to patch things, DICE). VADS on the other hand does 0 damage against tanks and 0.5 damage vs jeeps. Even the 23mm AA does 0 damage vs tanks but that crappy 7.62mm M134 damages them.

Depends on which number exactly you mean. Most things are defined in Battlefield Bad Company 2\Dist\win32\levels\mp_common\level-00.fbrb which can be opened with quickbms (can be downloaded here aluigi.altervista.org/papers/quickbms.zip) and the bms script (this one aluigi.org/papers/bms/fbrb.bms). Just start the tool, select the script first, then select the fbrb file you want to extract and then select where you want the extracted files to appear. It's usually a good idea to not change the output path at all, the game will still work fine. The dbx files inside can be converted to xml with my tool www.filefront.com/16584259/dbxmlreader.rarJust extract the tool files to the same folder, start the tool and type "y" to convert all dbx files in the subfolders. I recommend Notepad++ for reading the files. The material modifiers are defined in the individual maps for some reason (the file name is "Materials_Win32"). Additionally DICE patched the game introducing the folder Battlefield Bad Company 2\Package\ which overrides some of the original values (more precisely, anything defined there overrides its original value, but not everything is defined there). So basically you need to look in the individual map folder in the Package section first, then the files in mp_common in the Package section, then the individual maps in Dist, then the files in mp_common in Dist. Usually there is no difference between mp_common and the individual map files though, however VADS doesn't exist in mp_common but only in the few maps that have it (map 12 conquest for example). Good luck.
