There denkirson.xanga.com/722757523/bad-company-2/ is a little mistake with hardcore. As I tested, hardcore mode doesn't set health to 60, but divides damage by 0.6, so 9A-91 and UMP kill with 4 bullets leaving almost nothing after 3 shots (seem like 33.33 per shot).

That doesn't make sense, though. The 9A-91 should still kill in 3 bullets because 20/0.6 x 3 is still 100. It should kill in 3 up close and 5 at long range in HC, and 5 up close in core.
Even if you can demonstrate that either of those is actually wrong (which would be worth knowing, sure), it still doesn't prove that the difference is a damage multiplier rather than a health cut. Health*0.6 should be exactly the same as damage/0.6.
It's possible the engine rounds early and you do survive at 0.0001 hp after three bullets up close, but that's pretty unlikely. Occam's razor would lead me to trust Den's numbers until proven otherwise, including the HP change.

Well, if someone takes the time to register then that person surely has made done enough tests to be certain that something is wrong. And ingame tests > numbers any time.

It maybe should be 20.000000 x 3 = 60.000000 but its more like 33.333333 x 3 = 99.999999 So there is about 0.000001 hp left and enemy is still alive and its absolutely different thing. Yes, health bar is empty, but he's still alive! The only thing i can think about it's that 60 isn't exact number. The only way to get 33.333333 of 20 is deviding it by 0.6 20/0.6 = 20*1.(6) = 33.(3) Or players just have 60.000001 hp.
