The TTK appears to be all wrong. TTK should be the number of bullets to kill (n) minus 1 multiplied by the time between each bullet (T) So: (n-1) x T These appear to just take number of bullets to kill multiplied by the time between bullets. Your first bullet is instant you don't include it in the TTK calculation. I don't trust these numbers

No, those numbers are right.
M4A1 TTK (Close Range) = (3 Bullets to Kill - 1) * (1 sec / 13 rounds) = .154 sec
The rest of the numbers that I've checked match up as well, so I assume all of them do.
That being said, there are other slight mistakes, though they might just be typos. Most noticeably, the number of bullets it takes to kill at range for all the handguns.

oops my bad. yes i worked it out on the FAD but looking at the chart on my iphone i mistook round capacity for close range damage as could onluy look at a small window of the data and figured it was a 3 hit kill. my bad.

It needs info on the effects of attachments like suppressors and rapid fire. Anyone has the mechanics behind the weapon proficiencies? like how much kick reduces recoil and how range works? does it increase the range before damage drop off and how much? is it a consistant multiplier applied across all weapons?

Rapid Fire has always been RoF x 4/3, kick supposedly reduces recoil by 20%, and I would assume that yes, that's how range works. We just don't know by how much.

I have access to much of the stats data at least to that of one of the final dev builds. I am planing on releasing an iphone app problem is I can't get the Game image files the same package the Den has posted on previous games. If anyone could get me access to the Game Hud images I could send around some free app download codes and pass along the raw data too. A trade gents? Looking at this, the best full auto ARs are the G36C and ACR, and subs are the P90 and MP7, Type 95 is the better burst AR, and there's only one semi-auto AR; basically, you'll be spending at least one of your first prestige tokens on unlocking a gun because of the levels at which the competitive guns in the popular categories are unlocked. Seems like the Type 95 is the better burst gun. With a faster Rounds per Sec, higher Close Damage, and slower(est) Drop Time, it's like they're discouraging switching to secondary for CQC with the Type 95 (I've got the old MW2 - CQC secondary mindset). Anyone have an idea what "Range Change" column means? The SCAR-L seems outclassed by the M4 in every which way except maybe in Range Change value (which is something I'm not clear on).

^^I'm guessing it's the amount of distance it takes till max damage drops? I think its going by inches..

Why would you use any other shotgun than the 1887?
Pros: *Most DMG close *Most DMG far *Most/equal number of pellets as the highest *Almost twice the RPS as the spas12
Cons: *Slow ADS (ASD has no effect in mw3, useless) *Reload is slower than spas12 (but faster than usa12/aa-12) *Mediocre capacity (ammo)
Why would you use any other smg than the mp7? *High clip size *High dmg close *Highest/equal dmg far *High RPM *Low ADS time *Crazy low recoil
Cons: *Slow reload
Why would you use any other AR than the ACR?
Pros: *Alot
Cons *Little

MP7 might just marginally beat out the other smgs, but not by a whole lot

Just going by the weapon stats page. i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k487/dcbrady12/MW3WeaponStats.jpgBut seeing how its in the top 3 in every stat, minus reload time, I can see how its significantly better than the other smgs now.

The recoil is so low. Absolutely no need for kick. To explain how low it is, you are gonna miss more bullets because of the ADS Sway than the recoil itself
The bullet spread is also excellent (for an smg)
Finally it probably has the best iron sight in the game. I know this is a matter of prefference,

I believe you. I am convinced also.. At least it isn't Famas OP'd. It will never kill in 2 hits, and it has the longest reload time, though its 40 mag size makes up for it.
IF I had it my way, I'd decrease the recoil on the UMP a little bit and reduce PM9's reload time to match uz'si reload time of 2.4 as well as reducing its raise time from 1.23 to .7. I wonder just how much better it would have been..
BTW how is the PM9's recoil compared to the Uzi in previous games? About the same or better/worse?

It may not kill in 2 hits, but if you slap a extended mag + rapid fire it will kill ridiculously fast. Could someone compare the TTK? Blops famas vs MP7 with rapid fire
The pm9 without the kick proficency is worse than uzi, however with kick it is better. To bad it gets outclasses by all the other smgs in anything but point blank.

Yeah, MP7 w/ rapid fire will definitely kill faster than the Famas.. Dear god, don't give people ideas.. I could see rapid fire w/ kick being used over used and OP. .______.

Like i said you dont need kick. I am using dual attachments (rapid+extended).
I feel so freaking OP. I constantly outgun people 1v2 and 1v3 in close counters.Pretty much forced to use scavanger as the first specialist perk. Also when you get 1 "extra" weapon proficiency when you get 7(8) kills since i don't use one in the first place.
However, its still an smg. At anything but close/mid range you will get destroyed, and shotgun/sniper users will still win if they get a OHK. Also the mw3 maps have different sections (close/far, open/enclosed) so if hang out in the area your weapon class shines you will still win if you are the better player.

Tested the MP7 w/ Rapid Fire and ExMags on Private Match and I love it. Wish it wasn't such a high unlock.
The recoil seems to climb straight up. And I mean almost completely straight—any horizontal variation at all is probably from idle sway. Which means not only do you not need to worry about adjusting your aim vs stationary targets, but this thing should be a headshot machine as well.

^^^If the head multipliers are still 1.4X for autos (including this one), headshots at max kill range won't really matter though. It will kill in 3 hits max regardless--against full health enemies in core modes.

Not sure what the range proficiency does. On smgs since they dont have a max range like shotguns. I guess less damage decay over range?

This chart makes me sad. Skorpions are not the best machine pistol. But why have the others when the FMG-9 outclasses them all in RPM, damage, and magazine size?

Agreed, tho it has the slowest reload time and the first time use penalty. I will not use it as i cba to equip it every single time i spawn.

FMG9 has far more sway and recoil than the MP9. The MP9 is the only one that can really emulate an SMG.

The AS50, RSASS, and Drag all have "low sway" [Unsure on Drag] The Barrett, L118, and MSR have "high sway"
The AS50 comes with level 1 zoom of the Variable Zoom scope
Stance HEAVILY changes idle sway on all snipers. Massive reduction in prone, large reduction in crouch.
Most share similar if not the same recoil patterns [RSASS, L118, AS50, Barrett]
Firerate caps are currently insane and > 900RPM
Finally, damage: [Damage, Head, Neck, Upper Torso, Upper Arm, , Lower Torso, Legs
Barrett/MSR = 98, 1.5, 1.5, 1.1, 1.0, 1.1, 1.0 L118/AS50 = 98, 1.5, 1.5, 1.5, 1.1, 1.1, 1.0 Drag/RSASS = 98, 1.5, 1.5, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0

asasa: So it sounds like the AS50 is the clear favorite (low sway, highest damage) . . . assuming the lower magnification isn't a major detriment (I tend to think it would actually be a "plus" on these maps).

Yes, if you shoot in the gut AS50 is your bro. RSASS is a super cool guy too if you keep it to the chest and up.

@ Asasa The AS50 actually has a fire rate limiter iirc.
