wait, wait, wait, putting EM reduces rate of fire O.o so EM and RF on pm-9 is not the same as pm-9 with RF?!? wtf

Disgruntled JigglypuffSeatown. I like shooting pots when I ain't killing beatches. God gosh darn golly gee whiz pots. Have you tried out other maps? Just curious to see if the map itself affects RoF. I wouldn't rule out anything! Who would have thought that grip would reduce ROF?

Has anyone besides the OP attempted to calculate the PM9 w/ RF? If it really is slower than the PP90, that's kind of a huge bummer.

so when you put Ext Mags on a gun, it reduced the RoF? are you sure you didnt miscalcalculate the times just becuase its a bigger mag?

I dont think its the ext mags. Ext mags is used as the base. AKA, anything but RF or other quirks like MG36 grip.

Hey fred, does the 2nd UMP row on your spreadsheet include the effects of RF?
I'm keen to expand the number of RF plots on my MW3 recoil plots thread, but have been holding back because of the discrepancies.

Ah could it be that the AK becomes pretty accurate, using it with exmags? Lower fire rate + center speed could make gun more accurate right? Because when I was using it with exmags, I really noticed I was able to make longer kills more easy.

Hey, fred, Received the following information about rates of fire on the Wii yesterday. Am investigating further. I will let you know right now that your charts won't translate well on the Wii version. Every automatic gun has one of 2 firerates: 600RPM or 900RPM (MP7 is the only exception with about 700RPM). Also, Rapid Fire doesn't work on Type-95, PP90M1, PM-9, PKP Pecheneg, and M60E4 Oh, and you're my bro, bro (did I say it right?) Welcome to the forum, falufa, and thanks for the information, even if it is disturbing. How did you find this out, by the way? Oh, you almost said it right, near enough anyway, but it is only necessary to say it when you start your first new thread, not your first post. Then you get to be a true bro! EDIT - more details at www.gamefaqs.com/boards/638780-call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3/61389293

How long is the burst delay on the type 95? And does the delay start from the trigger pull or when the burst ends? Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, couldn't find it.

Bros, I know we have MW3 stats from the game guide, but sometimes we have often found them faulty especially for rates of fire (shotguns). So I measured the time to empty whole extended mags for every auto weapon to calculate the rate of fire. (PS3 12/3/2011) You ain't gonna believe this doo-doo ... the Foxtrot-ing akimbo FMG9's shoot at a faster rate than the FMG9 with any other attachment! I can hear the difference when I use them side by side. What were they thinking!? Also: * Most of the MG's shoot at the same rate ... 150 rounds takes 12.5 seconds to fire for L86, MG36, MK46. * Rapid fire is running a consistent 25% increase in fire rate with 1 exception: the MP7 is only getting 10% increase * Some of the weapons are significantly slower than the guide's ROF. Here's the spreadsheet: docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_US&hl=en_US&key=0Av5t-DE1i_xfdE5qdUg4MkhPRFhBWmo3MnhHV09GeGc&output=htmlThanks fred. Will be using this in my new series.

Sorry to bump this, but I'm not sure I understand these rof's. These are the actual yet unintended rof caused by the amount of frames per second? Would every cod game have this (different rof than was intended)?
Also is it impossible to ever fire above 1200 rpm meaning guns like the Spectre(blops) cap out without the full 25% bonus for rapid fire?

Since there are (roughly) 3600 frames per minute on consoles and 5400 frames per minute on PC, 1200 rpm should not be an issue.

But can it fire ABOVE 1200 rpm?

I don't see why not. Why would there be an arbitrary limit at 1200 rpm?

Alright thanks guys. I'm not sure why I thought that was the limit(maybe because it's the highest base rof I've seen)

Alright thanks guys. I'm not sure why I thought that was the limit(maybe because it's the highest base rof I've seen) World At War PPSh-41: 1,250 RPM. Plus you can add Double Tap to it D:

Back to the old MG36 with the grip: I'll bet it was basically a laser, right?
