It's funny how most people though the Kobra was bad to start (myself included) but are now realizing how good it is. It's especially good when you're using a silencer so the arrow doesn't block the little aiming gap.

What attachments do you roll with? PK-A 3.4x scope and taclight or laser sight depending on the map. There isn't much to choose from lol.

Played a little CQ today....I prefer TUGS there too. I think it's mostly a speed thing. Lying down out of the way is totally anathema to me. Even beyond the time you spend on the MAV, you have to factor in getting to your little out of the way spot and getting back, sitting the MAV down etc. I had to take some flag solo because obviously my team was awful. I got there, put tugs down instantly, and first ping brings back little red elves right on my ass. Would have died if I'd faffed around with the MAV. If I'd scoped the area out with the MAV first, it would be about 5 weeks too late to affect the match. I guess I have beaten and scrunched my cack-handed mess of a playing style in to a strict and broadly effective style guide for winning, and the TUGS fits in well, and the MAV not at all. I am sure there are other methods of winning, but I am not aware of them, much less capable of doing them. And doing anything that doesn't assist me winning makes me sick.

The main reason I love the MAV is because you can use them like motion balls from BC2.

If they let you place two or three T-UGS to give it some kind of differential advantage over the MAV, I would definitely consider using them. There are many instances where two T-UGS could cover the entire incoming front line and give us excellent coverage that anything but an actively flying MAV would fail to do.

recon is a situational class in my book.
80% of the time id rather have another class, Unfortunately way too many people try to make up that 20% >.>

recon is a situational class in my book. 80% of the time id rather have another class, Unfortunately way too many people try to make up that 20% >.> The trick is to have a couple of recons using soflam/MAV/tugs and not sniping. A good recon player using a PDW and a tugs on the front line can wreak havoc. As for those who just sit back and snipe, there is no place for that. If you're sniping you should also be flying your mav at least some of the time.
