It is fortunate that I found this place so soon, because I've been meaning to find a more conscientious opinion on the different available submachine guns. In Call of Duty 4, to be clear.
Well, the first thing I'd like to discuss is the MP5. Just a cursory look at most other message boards you will see nothing but praise for the MP5, but it often seems that I'm one of only a small minority that doesn't like it because of it's inaccuracy. And time and again arguments are brought up that it is the most accurate. Am I missing something here? It seems like in all ways but two (the hip spread quirk and ammo sharing) it is inferior to the AK-74u.
Next in line is the P90. I constantly hear about how it's "N00b", although the definition seems to mutate every time it is spoken written used. It seems to me like a compromise between the Mini-Uzi's rate of fire and the AK-74u's low recoil, obviously not being able to match either perfectly. What are your opinions on the subject?
Next is the Skorpion. Well, this is just a simple one: is it worth it? I mean, sure, it's balanced, but is it really worth learning? It seems like any role you could use it for would be performed better with a different weapon.
Lastly, the AK-74u versus the AK-47. With silencers. According to the data, the only major differences are that the AK-47 has roughly an extra 300 range, whilst the AK-74u has more mobility and a higher rate of fire. It seems like a one-sided question, or is there more to this?
Thanks in advance for your responses. You are my bro, bro.

MP5 has the first shot accuracy. Steady ironsights. But it has the heaviest kick of all the SMGs next to the Uzi. The AK74u has better "accuracy through kick" when sighted over the MP5.
- The P90 has a barely lower rate of fire than the Uzi, slightly better "accuracy through kick" than the AK74 (due to lack of idling and improvement in CenterSpeed), the PC version still has extra Sprint time, a big magazine with lots of reserve ammo and it goes really well with a Red Dot.
With all those traits, it isn't anything special - it excels at medium range, outdone by the other SMGs up close and other classes far away. The "Bard" of firearms.
- The Dragunov and Skorpion are Overkill's poster couple.
The Vz.61 is statistically outclassed by a lot of weapons at the average fight distance, but it has the kind of superiority over stationary and long-range targets that no other weapon has.
- The Silenced 47 has the decreased damage of the 74. The 74 has the increased spread of the 47. The 47 has a couple meters more at which it will deal more damage. The 74 has 105.25% the move speed and 113% the rate of fire of the 47. Nothing else. The AK47 is literally a slower version of the AK-74u with a negligable damage range difference when silenced.
