Hey again bros, more ultra noob questions for ya. Not sure if I got this right but help me if you can. I know Den explains it a bit but im still confused a bit.
I get the recoil stats, like if a gun has .2L .4up .4R then it will tend to kick to the right more than the left, and a weapon with .2up will have less vertical recoil than the one with .4up. The first shot I think means the first shot will have a impact on recoil of 2.0 and every shot after that will be judged by the other recoil numbers. The recover is how fast you regain accuracy after going full auto. Is all that right?
What im having trouble with is the "spread, cone of fire" stat. Im guessing the bullets dont fly in the same path even though your aiming at the same spot, no matter how slow you shot. The first number is at single shots and if you hold the trigger the second number is how high it can reach.
one reason why im asking is the 249 has a zoom spread of .6-3.0 the pkp is .6-1.0 does that mean the pkp handles better if full auto fights better than the 249? im talking 100+ bullet spray. by looking at post patch stats, ill add a flash suppressor to reduce recoil slightly and a grip to reduce recoil slightly. even though it says it will add to the min spread it will still be lower than the 249, making it kick less and keep more rounds on target, with a higher damage.

Oh and for that first shot recoil multiplier, when you have a number that says 2.0, it mutiplies all recoil of the first shot by 2. So if you have 0,2 up, it becomes 0,4

ah, i see where there changing some
Recoil up 0.75 -> 0.65 Recoil decrease 7 -> 13 FirstSRecoilMul 1 -> 1.5 Max spread, ADS, not moving 1 -> 3
so it will have less recoil, but it will have the spread of other lmg's.
how do u think this will effect this weapon?

Generally, its recoil is getting lowered except for the first shot (higher recoil decrease = it decreases more, btw) That 1 spread was only if you stood perfectly still while shooting; if you strafed, that unintended bonus was gone, I think
Basically, when standing, the PKPs spread was 0,6. 1 shot adds 0,1 spread, so after 4 shots you already hit maximum spread and spread wouldn't go up further; you could shoot 100 rounds at 1.0 spread If you keep your burst at only 4-5 shots, you're not gonna noticed alot. If you spray away, then yes, you'll notice, but it's like that for the other lmgs anyway. it's going to be in line with the other lmgs now
One last thing; when you are in bipod mode, all weapons have a totally different max spread which I think is slightly below 1, so do spray away when using that

And remember that recoil decrease only takes effect when you stop firing. So generally speaking, the higher your recoil decrease is, the better the weapon is at short bursts (as long as the first shot recoil multiplier isn't too high).
