I once got 2 Pavelows and 2 UAV's. And once I got 3 Predators and a Sentry. But that one was in Split-Screen.

Has the Emergency Airdrop been nerfed recently? Since I prestiged, I've called in six airdrops and not a single crate contained anything better than a Pred or Sentry - I kid you not. According to the current stats this has a chance of 0.019% happening, which I wouldn't put beyond my trademark bad luck, but still.

I once got a chopper gunner and a ac130 in the same airdrop, it was sick (they shot the chopper down pretty quick but weren't planning on my back up ac130.
I had a teammate get this as well, but I had a pavelow out and he didn't get to use either before the match ended.
Which leads me to my next point. Shouldn't there be an option to call out which ever killsteak you want from an air drop? For example my friend had a ac130 but since he picked up the chopper last he was stuck with that one. I have had to call in 2 straight uav's a few times because I just needed to get rid of them so I could use another killstreak I had saved up.

4 Chopper Gunners = Win
I've had 2 ACs, as well as 3 Predators.

yeah I wish they would bind your 3 killstreaks to 3 different buttons
I hate calling in an airstrike, and then it lets me use my UAV -____-
or having to use my UAV before I can use chopper gunner...because why would I need UAV when I'm using one?

Well technically your teammates could use the UAV. But it's still a MASSIVE improvement over CoD4/WaW, yea? Regarding CPs and Emergency Airdrops. Earlier when i was playing ffa for a few hours, I saw exactly 10 CPs and 3 Emergency Airdrops. Literally 9 out of 10 of the CPs had either Apache or AC130 ( ) and the emergency airdrops had nothing higher than a Harrier. Those care packages combined with massive predator missile spam homing in on me every time made it a truly frustrating experience and I don't know why I kept playing without using cold-blooded.

Newcomer here, while I realize the percentages don't allow for a nuke to drop from either a care page or an emergency drop, I just had someone on my team deploy a nuke, with a record of 25/21. He didn't have a mic (I'm on 360), but the odds of him getting a 25 killstreak on his last death boggle the mind.

and AC130s are magnetically attracted to rooftops. How often do you see that? Oh look, somebody on my team threw a CP marker inside a building (or just too close to it). Oh, look it's an AC130 or pavelow or stealth bomber or something...
Oh look, my teammate got an emergency airdrop. Hey he actually knows how to use it! WHAT THE F... it's ALL AMMO RESUPPLIES!!!!!

Suggestions for IW, make it so we can shoot them down off roofs. ;3
Also much better, simply make it so that the usual button selects it rather than activating it. On XBox it's the right dpad button. Instead of that actually activating your reward you could have it toggle through them and then you pull the trigger to activate, just like when you get care package. It would be slightly slower so maybe have it automatically activate the KS when you only have 1, but otherwise it just brings it up and you pull the trigger to activate, or hit again to toggle/scroll through your KS's.
No need for extra buttons or anything.

Oh yeah, I would love being able to rotate through my killstreak rewards (as I use emergency airdrop, and things can get hectic when picking it up - in the right order).

I like the idea of toggling through KS and selecting the one you want. I also agree with being able to knock these things off roofs. I've launched noob tubes at these things and they don't budge.

Of course I'd also like to see it use a smidgen of AI and actually attempt to drop them so they don't get caught on a ledge just because the smoke was right next to a building. Just a simple hack would probably fix 90% of the bad drops.

I doubt a grenade launcher would move it much at all IRL either

Some guys got EMP from one of the boxex, so it's really strange about it btw. callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Emergency_AirdropHere is the chance. All of them (except EMP) taked from ssog calculation (look first page of this thread). But... where they get EMP chance ? I checked youtube - no video with EA with EMP. It's really strange

It's really strange Dunno who made up that EMP%, but I do know that the figures they listed are mathematically impossible. *IF* an EMP was possible from Airdrop (and I've never seen one), then it would decrease the odds of getting any other killstreak reward. If there was a 4.5% chance of getting at least one EMP, then the chances of getting at least one of everything else would not be exactly the same across the board as the ones I calculated. SOMETHING would have to be lower to make up for the fact that the EMP percentage is higher. The fact that nothing is lower leads me to believe that someone is making things up. Edit: I changed the wiki page to put the EMP odds at 0%. If someone really believes that there's a chance of getting an EMP, they need to recalculate all of the numbers, anyway.

I edited this part in the Trivia section on that wiki. It now reads: The only 4 killstreaks impossible to get from a drop are Care Package, another Emergency Airdrop, EMP, and a Tactical Nuke

Weren't the figures we have taken directly from game files?

Weren't the figures we have taken directly from game files? Yup. And like I said, the fact that someone just took my numbers and added a made-up number for the EMP (rather than recalculating all the numbers based on an actual percentage chance for the EMP) leaves me pretty certain that they're just making stuff up.

I've gotten an EMP from a care package before, only once though. I'm looking at my stats right now and I have 1 of 2 needed for Blackout I and I've never selected it as a killstreak and the amount of times I've had more than 10 "real" kills in a row I can count on one hand.
