Yes, we will agree to disagree on the MP5. But I'll take back what I said about the UMP. I'd rather have the M93R with attachments than the MP5. Anyway, 34 damage returning? Hell yes. As long as they don't nerf something stupid like the reload speed, I'll be using the UMP as my Recon PDW. The M417 has 20 rounds? Seriously? I must not have been paying attention. It's easily the best Recon weapon, and I'd even say it trumps the SKS at this point for close range. The fire rate isn't that different, and the real semi-auto sniper rifles get those close range OHK headshots. Speaking of not paying attention, I just noticed the SKS has bolt action suppression. At 333 RPM. Add the suppression perk and a flashlight, and you'll be untouchable.

As long as they don't nerf something stupid like the reload speed, I'll be using the UMP as my Recon PDW. I would too rather have the M93R with attachments, as would most... It's overpowered. But alas... What's this banter about the UMP? are all .45 weapons (all 2 of them) getting 34 damage up close? That seems too dominant to me. And PS: the M417 is hilarious in gun game. I just hipfire and use it like a shotgun. I accidentally got a triple feed (unfortunately the last kill didn't count for the JNG kill count ) it's pretty sexy if the enemy is 10 ft. away. But completely unbalanced. Well, except for it's velocitty, the lowest among snipers except for the SKS, which it has a 10 m/s advantage on. M39 may still be superior at very long ranges. I just don't use semi-autos at very long ranges.

That's what I did too. I don't even knows what my weapon is in GM half the time, I just shoot at people. It doesn't help that the M417 looks like an AR either, so I never even noticed I was using it.

Anyone have any guesses for when the next patch will be out or heard anything? I hope it is before AK, but I'm not optimistic. I'm excited for the suppressor and UMP buffs.

I'm excited for the suppressor and UMP buffs. 100% sure it's gonna be AK. They're compressing the update and AK in one download, meens less fees to console first parties And of course PC is gonna be held back.

Yeah, I'd bet on AK too. DICE's strategy seems to be patch as sparingly as possible. At least there's nothing like the M26 bug or uber-suppression that makes the wait unbearable.

Well that gives me almost two months to be excited and/or lose interest. I haven't played very much lately; I don't know about anyone else. I embraced CQ with an open mind, but there isn't enough there to keep my interest anymore.

Yeah, they've lost me too (for now). I'll check out AK, but bigger maps alone isn't enough to keep me
CQ was a massive failure in that regard. In the end, the weapons were the most interesting and that's kind of pathetic
