Feel free to discuss any weapons from BO2 here in detail. Any info you have on them, like game mechanics/weapon stats from videos/inside information,. as well as your personal opinions!
Weapons confirmed so far for multiplayer. Please post any new ones, so I can update.:
PRIMARIES
Assault rifles: Type 25 - fast rate of fire, and moderate recoil. M8A1 - 4 burst assault rifle SA-58 - Semi auto american version of FAL. SIG556 - 3 burst rifle with high damage like the M16/Type 95 from previous games. SCAR-H - supposed to have above average damage and range AN-94 - A variant of the AK47. First 2 bullets, fire at a very fast rate. SMR - semi auto. Highest damage of ARs. Probably like M14. TAR21 - recently confirmed
Shotguns: M1216 Saiga-12 -russian shotgun that looks like an ak47 lol R-870 MCS
LMGs: LSAT QBB LSW Mk 48
Sniper Rifles: DSR 50 - german bolt action sniper rifle. OSOKs stomach and below, mag size of 5. SVU-AS - bullpup version of SVD w/ mag size of 12. Low recoil+ acog zoom. Damage unknown. Could be like the M21 in power (OSOK to head and neck). Ballista - iron sights is a separate attachment. In game description says it OSOKS to the chest and up
SMGs: MP7 Chicom CQB PDW-57 - variant of the p90. Has 50 rounds like the original. Skorpion EVO III - newer version of Skorpion? MSMC - indian variant of the uzi Vector - recently confirmed
Primary Attachments: Reflex sight ACOG sight Target Finder -Paints red squares around hostiles. Hybrid Optic Suppressor Fast Mag -Faster reloading of mags.sleight of hand. Fore Grip - decrease recoil on primary weapons Laser Sight - tightens hip fire. Works like Steady Aim Adjustable Stock - increase movement speed while adsing. aka Stalker from MW3.? Quickdraw -faster ADS? Millimetre Scanner -see through some solid surfaces + smoke Ballistic UAV - reduces idle sway long barrel- for shotguns only.. Gives more range Grenade Launcher Select Fire Mode - switch fire between auto, burst, and semi. Via wildcard. FMJ Rounds - Deep impact/aka better penet through surfaces and increases damage to vehicles(and possibly kill streaks) Extended Clip Rapid Fire
Specials: Assault Shield (Metal riot shield that can be planted into the ground as makeshift cover) Cross bow?
SECONDARIES:
Launchers: FHJ-18 AA (Vehicle lock-on, two rockets) RPG SMAW
Pistols: KAP-40 Tac-45 Executioner B23R
Lethal Slot: Grenade Semtex Combat axe Claymore C4 Bouncing Betty
Tactical slot: Black Hat PDA (Get close to enemy equipment and point this data pad at it to hack it and turn it against enemies. Takes ages to hack though!) Smoke grenade Sensor grenade Flashbang Concussion grenade Sensor grenade Shock charge (a throwable stick that emits an electric shock across a surface, rooting targets to the spot) Tactical Insertion

wait...don't we have this one already? Do we? I know we have the weapons list posted somewhere. Just wanted a thread that's just for discussing BO2 weapons, since I don't see any so far. Anyway, I noticed the SVU sniper rifle in this game, has a 12 mag size, and very little recoil(still goes up and to the right) and sway. Also seems to have a WA2000 from BO or AS50 from MW3 ACOG zoom. Don't know about its OSOK areas, though I'm hoping it's like a WA2000+Drag from BO1 hybrid, and has a OSOK to the chest at least w/out a silencer.

At least in the video I just posted, 24 seconds into the video Shows the 6 separate classes, including Specials. And the Assault Shield would be in Specials category. You'd have to get the Primary gunfighter wldcard to use 2 primaries...

We don't have to take the in game bar stats to heart.. But perhaps no more clone guns?
AN-94: Fully auto, but the first 2 rounds of each burst, are at a faster fire rate. Mobility: 14 Damage: 12 Range: 13 Accuracy: 10
SMR: Semi auto. Highest damage per round class. Mobility: 14 Damage: 16 Range: 16 Accuracy: 15
M8A1: 4 burst AR, can be fired in quick succession. Mobility: 14 Damage: 9 Range: 11 Accuracy: 13
Type 25: Automatic with a high RoF and moderate recoil. Mobility: 14 Damage: 9 Range: 9 Accuracy: 11
SA-58: Semi-auto AR. Light recoil with moderate damage. Mobility: 15 Damage: 14 Range: 14 Accuracy: 16
Sig556: 3 burst assault rifle. High damage output in each burst. Mobility: 14 Damage: 13 Range: 15 Accuracy: 16
Scar-H: Fully Automatic. Increased Damage and Range. Mobility: 14 Damage: 13 Range: 15 Accuracy: 12
In short.. -AN94, fully auto, but first two rounds of every burst are faster than the ones after. -SMR, semi auto, and highest damage of the class. looks like it could be the new M14. -M8A1 is a 4 burst round rifle. I'm guessing each bullet is 30 damage. -Type25 is a auto with a fast rof. I'm guessing 3-4 hit kill gun ot sure how fast or the damage. If it's 3 hit kill, I'm guessing 35 damage. -SA-58 looks like it could be the FAL or the SVT40/Geweher/ etc and does at least 40 damage I think. Maybe 50, but no 1.4 headshot multiplier, but more accurate than SMR. -Sig556 is a 3 burst. At least 40 damage.. Maybe even up to 50 max damage, like the type 95 in MW3. -Scar-H is a fully automatic with "increase damage and range." All I'm thinking now is the BO2 version of the ACR from MW3.

I dont get the thing w/ the AN94. Every time you fire from the AN94, the first 2 bullets will faster than normal (IRL AN94 fires up to 1800RPM).

I imagine that it would work as thus: By default, it fires full auto. When you pull the trigger, the first two shoots come out extremely quickly, then the RoF slows down. This happens every single time you pull the trigger. If you have Select Fire, you can switch the gun to Burst Fire, which probably shoots 2 rd bursts at the same increased fire rate. You can most likely replicate this by shooting in very quick bursts on full auto as well.
BTW, the SA58 in the game is actually a US made FN FAL variant. You're looking at the wrong SA-58 =P Also, the AN-94 is not at all a modern AK47. It bears passing resemblance to the AK-47 in terms of general shape, but has almost nothing in common with any weapon of the AK series.
