I've started today to make a damage and range chart for blops2, like i did for MW2 and BO1. All informations are by self testing.It's still a wop but any feedback or suggestions are welcome.

Yep, hopefully everything but snipers. Most kids get head shots due to luck and recoil. I get head shots because kids be all Mind Bulletsin' and drop shotting. And for this, I am sad. Yeah, its a hard balance to work out when guns kill in 3-4 shots usually. Overall I think its better for the game if its weaker... but I have noticed an unusually large amount of headglitching in BO2. We'll see.

Lol'd I guess the headshot multiplier helps explain some of the variances in TTK I've experienced, both for and against me.

Because, on most guns, setting the HS multiplier to 1.2x does not change the # of bullets needed to kill

Only on 40 damage guns. Any other common values 45, 33, 24, 22, 18 all benefit immediately from a single headshot. Also consider why it wouldn't be good for every 40 damage weapon to benefit from headshots.

So, is it fair to say that SWAT select fire/full auto's 3 hit kill range is as long as FAL OSW's 2 hit kill range?
M27 could really use a buff... MTAR beats it at close-mid range and has a longer 4 hit kill range, and Type 25 beats it in the mid 4 hit kill range. M27's recoil and reload speed, is noticable over the MTAR, but imo, it enough IMO. Just a run of the mill AR...
I think M27 should get a longer 4 hit kill range(equal of mtar or slightly better), or a 3 hit kill range that does 35 max damage at least. What do you guys think?

Which means: No 4hk at long range for the Type 25 And no good reason to use M27 over Type25 or Mtar, or any auto AR, to be honest.. Lets count the outclassed guns that lose in most to all situtions vs other weapons in their class: smg: MP7, and arguably vector. Both have combination of lowest kill times at all ranges, and highest recoil as well(bar Skorpion) ar: M27, SMR. M27 loses out in cqc and ties with Type25 for shortest 4 hit kill range for all auto ARs. SMR has a significantly longer 2 hit kill range than FAL OSW, but inferior in every other way(smaller/lower mag size, recoil, rof, reload time, and ads time). To add insult to injury, Treyarch decided to give it the worst hipfire accuracy out of all ARs, specifically worse than FAL OSW's. lmg: Wow, first time in COD history!!! Actually none that I see! shotgun: auto shotguns sniper rifle: SVU-AS. hitbox glitch and no OSOK to the neck, and no OSOK areas with a silencer whatsoever, while the other 3 get at least a OSOK to the upper arm and all the way down tot he chest w/ a silencer. Dragunov has been shitted on twice in a row now. pistol: Executioner. Crap range, med-high recoil only 5 rounds, unbearably long reload times. Better of using the other semi autos.

I thought the M27 had 23 min damage instead of 22? That would make it a 4hk at long if all bullets went to the head, plus a little bit extra range.

M27 has lower recoil, I believe. But Type with Grip is probably better. I mentioned that earlier, but it's not enough. MTar hardly has any more recoil than the M27. Way less noticable than MP7 vs Vector.

Just from the video, MTar has more recoil and it is more random. Someone may choose the M27 simply by its predictable, low recoil.

It's still crap compared to MTAR and Type 25. M27's better recoil is barely noticable over the MTAR and Type 25. Only thing that stands out really is its .5 second faster reload over MTAR. Other than that, I'd say its getting the Dragunov of auto ARs treatment.
If it at least gets 35 max damage and/or a longer 4 hit kill range, it would do wonders for the m27... .

And from what I've seen Flak Jacket is already nerfed, since I unlocked in day 1 and it did wonder, hunter killer rarely killed me and RC-XD never, then on yesterday, I got kill by ever single hunter killer unless they miss completely(no damage to me at all because I ran around a cover/into building), RC-XD kills me half if the time...
I don't doubt they would make balance change to guns too, and maybe testing after things settled down would be a better idea?

I bet its more likely to just fix the servers. Could have sowrn I heard someone say that hunter killer does like a 1000 direct impact damage, and with flak jacket on, its 350, which is more than enough to kill a flak jacket user.

Hell, when IW released their balance patch, everyone was praising them for gun buffs even though they fucked it up and the patch didn't do anything. also I didn't get no update. ] OF course, I was just sharing my experience, not saying it's a proof for nerf. Steam was updating, I was kicked offline 10 mins ago, and first when I try to get back it says getting data from steam, then I saw my BO2 MP is downloading at 44%, and now it says BO2 is unavailable. BTW also recall that Von said Hunter killer can be counter by FJ a week ago on stream, so even the nerf wasn't after release, it was before.

Jokes aside, name one that is better than steam, D2D/gamefly sucks, so does Gamestop's. Some "good" store has no real good app to help you manage it, if you think steam isn't good...

the whole games a buggy mess right now, maybe. But keep in mind that if that was an update that happened then it would have to happen for everyone, so you wouldnt be able to find a game easily right after. Yes, the BO2 is still offline for now. Not steam's problem as I just tried other games which worked just fine.
