Sentry Gun + Guardian on Dining balcony facing the middle of the map will net you 4-5 kills usually and a ton of Supress Points. This is one of the maps where this combo is both highly successful and hilarious. Sometimes I just stop playing to watch the points go by

Sometimes I just stop playing to watch the points go by In addition to this (highly effective) use of the stationary streaks, you can place them on top of/facing spawn points on either side of the map to influence the spawn logic. You can build much better spawnkilling setups this way, since you're forcing the game to either spawn the enemies in front of your team or you Sentry Gun.

If you're trying to work on getting the 9+ multi kill challenge, this map, on demolition, on Defense is the best way to go.
First off, you want an SMG with dual mags equip, a Tac insert, Flak Jacket and Tac Mask, I recommend going Fast hands, overkill and another SMG with dual mags.
Second, you'll want to put a tac insert somewhere in office or anywhere around there that will be hidden, meanwhile you want a teammate just north of tub and steating, watching the the two boats to the northeast and northwest of A dom to ensure that anyone who gets out will be caught before they can get to you.
FInally, you'll set up at A dom, behind the thing in the middle, looking at chopper and rotating back and forth between the two sides of chopper. They'll spawn within and on the opposite side that you're looking and if you're good enough, you'll kill them as they try to approach you or get away from you, and you'll get your 9+ kill challenges. Enjoy

There is a small air vent at the side of the centre Pool where a frag can be tossed to reach the hardpoint site below deck. Even better than this, if you aim in the right spot you can throw grenades UP from underneath the ship right onto B-Dom or the hard point in the middle of the map (see the Sweet Spots thread for a picture) ...

The ENGINE ROOM flanking route and the TUB WEST flanking route are the best ways for a team to break out spawn traps, and nightmares for team in control. THIS. Tub west is often overlooked. I've also had good times using an overkill FAL/shotgun class on this map. Encounters are predictably either long or short, and you won't be outgunned either way. Clear out one interior area with the shotgun, take a few potshots from the 2d story with the FAL, drop down and repeat. +2 Often enough I even dare to take the flanking route behind the tub with a shotgun. More often than not you'll be the only one in the lobby to use it.

My tip for anyone who doesn't particularly enjoy Hijacked: Don't go out on the middle of the deck ever.

Coming back to this, I've noted one thing that I absolutely love about this map.
It seems like, most of the time, the under-deck passage is completely ignored. What's good fun is to have Engineer and PDAx2 and run through the tunnel as often as you respawn. Look up and you can hit pretty much any enemy equipment from down there for free points and often free kills if you're hacking betties/claymores.
Now I've got to check out this vent that's been talked about ...

agreed. it sucks to be me.
probability that one of 6 opponents has EMP nade in one of 6 custom classes and exactly that person wants to go under deck is close to zero : )

My group honestly appreciates a flow of enemy Guardians and/or Sentry Guns, considering 2-3 of us have a black hat or emp at all times. Hell, add UAV and CUAV to that as rockets are the same

In my experience only the absolute world leading shit players carry EMPs. If you're good the other team should struggle to get UAVs let alone Care Packages or Guardians+

You can't stop your teammates from dying but you can cover the whole map to ensure that a killstreak gets stopped.

I know I prioritize enemies on killstreaks when I can. It should never be a surprise when an enemy gets something big; you can look at the scoreboard any time.

The black hats and emps are there for the massive amounts of betty/shock charge campers and do wonders to add to streaks

I couldnt care less about them disabling enemy HUD or whatever. Being able to take out equipment or the occasional Sentry/Easy Bake Oven is just the icing on the cake.
