I was hoping this wouldn't be brought up. *Sigh*, thanks Sweetie :3 www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/video/twitter-questions-reggie-fils-aime/n19284/His body is ready to be a Smash character, he says, but he also says it's up to Mr. Sakurai. Aaaaaanyways, I wrote that Short essay for Anna a long time ago (on June 16th), I didn't post it here yet, so. . . There are a few things that are random, but they were appropriate to the place I posted it in, everything was addressing a point someone brought up against her, I wrote a lot of other smaller sections not here too.

I main Marth and I still think Fire Emblem is over-represented already. One is enough.

ive hardly played but meh ssb's character selection since melee is glaring proof that nintendo sucks the tits of old IPs and won't f ucking dare to make new ones Of course they won't. They're failing pretty bad as a company so they don't want to take any risks. Their well will run dry eventually so they need to make some new shit and hope for the best.

Can they just stop trying to sell us consoles we don't want with controllers we don't want and instead make games on other, better platforms?

I still think Nintendo is the gaming company brand that non-gaming and to a degree gaming families/parents think of when they consider getting a gaming console for their younger children. Then these children grow up playing Mario, Zelda, Samus, Donkey Kong and other excellent exclusive Nintendo titles which likely incurs a bond to that company. Even if they eventually grow out of playing Nintendo as a primary console they probably consider it a solid secondary gaming console and one that'll figure prominently as a top choice when they have children of their own. I believe this is a big part of Nintendo's business model; they bank on this cycle along with outside the box thinking innovations (gimmicky or not) to keep them relevant now and into the future. I also believe this is why Xbox and PS have put a decent level of stock into the development and integration of Kinect and PS Eye, because it makes those gaming systems more friendly to the casual family and youth gaming culture which is where early connections, or bonds, to a particular console/branding can begin.

Nintendo has the best number of system selling exclusives imo. Pokemon + Supersmash bros double-handedly made me pre-buy a 3DS. Fire emblem was a nice bonus I got to pass the time. I'm not going to be buying a WiiU.

Long time. LOLimar got confirmed along with the Pikmin 3 Japanese release. whoops I already said that in an earlier post. LUIGI has been confirmed. I rather like Luigi, I think most people do, he actually has interesting character. Now, my main reason for posting: OH MAI GAD SAKURAI HAS BECOME KING OF TROLLS, CURSE THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND OVER-ANALYZING TRANSLATED QUOTES! Pleasedontbeastagehazardpleasedontbeastagehazardpleasedontbeastagehazard "Pic of the day. Out of the blue, here's a new stage--the Pyrosphere from Metroid: Other M! An enemy from Samus's past may appear at any second." gosh darn golly gee whiz it, this better be Ridley.

Speaking of which... Where is phoenix Wright? He's a third party, Sakurai said third parties are special cases that he has a very high bar for. That being said, the first two third parties that should get in besides Sanic (seeing Nintendo and Sega being all buddy buddy recently) and Mega Man (because he's already in), are Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright. Then, Yoshimitsu (for all Namco representation, woooo! I do hates me some Pac-man!) and Bayonetta.

I am certainly expecting Bayo to be a character in the game. All of the characters that they have revealed besides the first 8-ish (Pikachu, Mario, Kirby, fox, etc.) and Megaman have been to promote an upcoming game. Villager for New Leaf, WiiFit Trainer for WiiFit U, Olimar for Pikmin 3, and Luigi (even though everyone knew he would be returning) for the whole Year of Luigi thing they've got going on. Despite Bayo being a Sega character, Bayonetta 2 is a WiiU exclusive and a reasonably big deal, or at least a big enough deal to move some WiiUnits, so I figure they'll be advertising for it by adding her to the roster.
As for the screenshot, I think Sack'o'Rice was referring to the stage, kinda like Frigate Orpheon has Metroid Prime's first boss in it, although it's not a stage hazard. Ridley seems the most probable. I never really played any Metroid game that much so I'm not well-versed in the lore, but I figure he'll just be a stage hazard and not an addition to the roster. 2big

Had a smashfest for about 4 hours yesterday. A blast was had. Nothing like a whole bunch of newbies trying the game for the first time and cracking up while playing it.

Peach is back, now with an actual layered dress instead of just a texture that looks layered. Woo! Sakurai's Miiverse post about the update: "Pic of the day. Peach joins the battle! We've added 10 pictures of her on the website, but keep in mind that the game is still in development. Her moves may be refreshed by the time the games are released." This seems to imply, confirming earlier rumblings by Sakurai, that many veterans are getting slight revamps or changes to their moveset. Peach still has Toad as her neutral B special (as of now), so that kinda. . . takes Toad out of the picture as a newcomer. Unfortunate. Peach's Fair (forward air attack) now uses her crown to smack the enemy as opposed to her open palm, and her Up-smash has a ribbon. Her booty bump back throw is in for now, as well as her dash attack and Up-tilt. How does Sakurai make me excited for a Mario vet that I don't really play? Iunno, but dose graphics doe. This pretty much guarantees that dojo character reveals come on the 11th or 12th of each month, they have so far.

Bayonetta would make for one hell of a character. Goddamn right she would. They toned down her sexualized appearance to a reasonable level so I think it'd be acceptable to have her in a kid's game, especially after booty suit Samus.

Peach's Fair (forward air attack) now uses her crown to smack the enemy as opposed to her open palm Wasn't it always that way? yeah it always used the crown hi im jaedrik i dont know anything about anything Shaddap, I don't main Peach, okay. Usually these things don't escape me, though, because I pause often in the early stages of playing to get a feel for everything, especially against CPUs when I'm good image hunting. Hehe, I got some pretty hilarious images. And yes, it's always been that way, even in Melee. I've probably seen it but forgot about it. :P Also, Usagi, you should have seen the support for Toad, you don't know what you're getting into. They devised clever movesets that represent Toad accurately that no other character could do without looking weird doing it. (the Toad fans that is.) I actually would have rather had Toad over Bowser Jr. or Paper Mario. In fact, Toad is a specific toad, the Japanese make a clear distinction between Toad and the others of the Toad species, kinda like Yoshi is a specific Yoshi of the species. It would be kinda ridiculous if they removed Yoshi, right? Heh, Toad is not so unbelievable, and would not be a shit character. EDIT: I forgot to mention, since around August 25th, many major sites in the Smash community have been under constant DDoS attack, taking down Smashboards, AllIsBrawl, The Project M site, and a bunch of others. Oh well. Hey, at least we got Smashboards back, but it's not a forum any more, here's hoping they solve their complications soon.

He's legit, doe, for real doe. Here we can see Usagi is just one of those people, he probably thinks Chrom is inevitable and that we won't get any new Mario reps (regardless of whether those things come true or not). In the end, it all depends on SAKURAIIIIIIIIIIIII and what HE wants. Noting happens in Smash without his permission, he was never forced into anything, and all his philosophy of choosing characters is based around uniqueness and their potential moveset. If he can see a good moveset for a character, he's going to put it in. The most overplayed mid-tier that would actually do okay.

Thst shovel move seems to come out really fast.
I smell lots of free damage/combo potential like Z-suit Samus's d-smash
